It rained today. MAybe if the water company didnt lose a third of the water through leaks there wouldnt be a problem.

Yes, when I was in London earlier this spring, they said the drought was coming to the southern portion of the British Isles.

Now I'm back in the US, getting rained on.

Bah, hasn't stop raining for days...Why doesn't this happen during the winter? I haven't had a good blizzard since I was 6.

Its not only leaks that are a problem, if the bbc news web site is to be believed, the filling in of resevoirs and then selling the land for building new homes has made the situation worse.

Added to the fact that since privatisation, the Water companies on the whole have not spent monies on infrastructure. pipes etc, but given themselves massive pay rises.

It's rained here all bloody day, but then again, it's Yorkshire...

Drove from Stockport to Blackpool and back to day and it was persisting down all the way there and back.. for about 6 hours?? wheres our summer?
