There. Are you happy now? I've admitted I'm emo. However, there are a few things that I simply REFUSE to do.
1. Listen to bands labeled as "emo".
2. Wear eyeliner
3. Wear Nail polish
4. Wear hot pink
5. Be homosexual
6. Wear tight pants
7. Be "scene"
8. Hang out with other emos
9. Have the majority of my overwhemling emotions be happiness

All that shit you listed is mild manufacted generic pulp. Underground bands are the root of true 'emo'. Pick up 'Everything you ever wanted to know about silence' by Glassjaw. then you can say you have heard proper 'emo'.
Though I dislike the label intensely...
