For all horror fans out there. I am sure we all know of the anthology series Masters of Horror created by Mick Garris that started about a year ago. Bringing horror icons like Dario Argento, Tobe Hooper, John Carpenter and Joe Dante together for each of them to make a one hour movie.

Also, I am sure we all know that Japanese director Takashi Miike (Audition and Ichi the Killer) was tapped on the shoulder and accepted to take part in season one. Problem, his episode 'Imprint' was yanked by Showtime due to 'distrubing' content. Even though the directors were allowed to do whatever they wanted, 'Imprint' just went over the top.

Good news, coming out on DVD this fall thanks to Anchor Bay. But, the good news here is the trailer for Miike's 'Imprint'. Enjoy.

I can't wait to see it. Masters of Horror is great and alot of the episodes were pretty brutal.

I'm not surprised it was a bit much. If you've ever seen "Audition", you'd understand that Takashi doesn't have much understanding of subtly.
disturbing - yes.
creepy - yes.
sickening - hell, yes.
subtle - ah....naw.

Agreed, Audition is just one hell of a creepy movie. One of those films that I feel like I need to take a shower after seeing.
