I don't care what brand it is as long it can call and text-message without all the other worthless crap thay have nowadays.

Siemens is a German electronics company if I recall correctly.

Which cellphone make do you prefer?

None. I make it a point to not carry a cellular.
Cannot think of a name

Really? Sweet...I missed most of the Dalek episode. (I'm in California, we're getting the first season now, just had the WWII empty kid on last night...)

I like (as much as I can like a cell phone, which is not much...) my Nokia because it's a little brick. I had a Treo 300 (on the theory that if I had to sell out and get a cell phone I wanted it to do something else useful, and being a PDA seemed like as good as anything, but it was fragile and didn't really work all that well. The Nokia makes and recieves calls and has a decent game of Backgamon on it. More than enough.

As for the two brands you mentioned: Nokia's are built like a rock, but they're very simple. Their phones are rarely fancy and dont have as many extra goodies as other brands, it seems. Not necessarily a bad thing though, as some people prefer basic phones.

The Motorola's that my friends and I have had in the past have a habit of being fragile and breaking easier than other brands, but theyre extremely versitile and I personally think that they look nicer than Nokia's. Many more flip phone options, too.

My personal favorite brand of phone, though, would have to be LG. I've had two LG phones, and my mother has one, and they're damn near invincible. My current phone, the LG vx7000, has a MASSIVE screen on it and the menus are very easy to navigate. It's a beautiful phone that does everything i want it to.

My Nokia phone can take pictures and video. It also has a whole bunch of ringtones, as well as text messaging, email, and IM. And...it has games and a calculator. Pretty good.

My Samsung has been through a full hot water washer cycle and a full hot dryer cycle, it's been flung against the wall at an insane speed (my cat got hooked up in the cord and flew, slamming the phone into the wall), and it still gets perfect reception. It even gets slightly improved reception in some areas, over my mom's phone which hasn't been through the trauma.

Cellphones are annoying(especially their ring tones)

I only use cellphones when I really NEED to, most people however act like babbling monkeys and just talk talk talk on theirs. And what they usually talk about is worthless SHIT.

I have used the same Motorola phone for almost six years now, and I have never had a problem with it. In fact, it has better reception and better battery life than any of my friends' much newer phones. I plan to continue using the same phone until it finally gives out.

Sony Ericsson is the king, mine has every gadget I could want except the kitchen sink... 3G Internet, video calls, Mp3 player, it plays feature lenght movies, 3d games, megapixel camera with flash, great battery life, bluetooth and all that crap... Next time I'm getting a smartphone though, either with Symbian or the M$ OS for cells...
