I love this guy. His first reaction to the hurricane is to steal as much beer as he can carry. I love that he crammed one more beer in his back pocket. A true American hero, deserving of space on the Wall of Fame.

I was thinking more along the lines of using the alcohol as a crude pain killer and disinfectant.

not enough alcohol in beer for any of that - though it's got more nutritional value than water. You'd want something distilled for use as a disinfectant. Pouring beer on a wound would probably make things worse, not better.

Get someone drunk? It'd take awhile but the pain would go away. On the chances that something distilled could be looted, I don't know. This is crude, remember?
