Create the Ultimate Rock Band

Breitenburg
13-05-2006, 19:09
The rules are simple. Make a band with a lead singer, two guitarists, a bass player, and a drummer. They can be from any band ever, but only one person per band.

My ultimate band is...

Lead Singer- Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
Guitarist- Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath)
Guitarist- David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)
Bass- Cliff Burton (Metallica)
Drummer- Keith Moon (The Who)

Dickinson can hit any note with his spectacular voice, while Tony Iommi sets down amzing riffs withnhis guitar. Gilmour can use his godly guitar skills to unleash amazing solos, while Burton's bass while sound off along with Moon's insane drumming antics.

Lead singer - Matthew Bellamy (Muse)
Guitar - Brian May (Queen)
Guitar - Slash (Guns n Roses)
Bass - No earthly idea. John Deacon? He was pretty good.
Drums - uuh... dunno - maybe that guy that did Drum Duet with Phil Collins, he was pretty awesome. Chuck something I think?

But yeah, Matthew Bellamy can actually sing the balls off a donkey, and Brian and Slash could have some awesome solo duels - or just wail on guitars in awesome ways.

I agree with this, except instead of the CoB and DT people, just mesh the three bands together: Mudvayne, TooL, and APC. Of course, Maynard leads them all - Billy and Kud are backup singers.

Sounds like a plan to me. Danny and Matt both doing drums would be tight as hell.
