Does anyone know what's up with my printer?
Just a minute ago I was trying to click on my favorites when I accidently hit the print button. Not wanting to waste paper, I hit the cancel button on the printer right away and went back to what I was doing. A few minutes later the printer started printing out a bunch of pages with weird symbols on them, and I couldn't get it to stop. It finally stopped after printing 8 pages that had ranging from two to a whole line of smiley faces and various puncuation marks and shapes and all kinds of weird shit.

Your printer is posessed. My advice would be to fill your bathtub with water, bless the water to make it holy, and immerse your printer in it.

doesn't sound like it. usually test pages contain letters and numbers also. and usually only one page long.
I would say garbage got into your printer memory, Power off/on should clear it.
the garbage print can also be a sign that your printer drivers may need updating since the job came from the Internet.

It has developed sentience and is attempting to communicate with you to the best of its limited abilities. Turning it off would leave metaphorical blood on your hands.

Thank's, I just tried that.

If JuNii's suggestion doesn't work I'll try that.
Sounds like a printer strike. It might possibly have something to do with the recent trend in paper cuts. I'd recommend arranging consultation sessions with the printer's union.

It's no biggie. When you interupt a print job, it sometimes corrupts the file that's in, or going to, the printer spool.
Turning your printer off, clearing the printer queue, waiting a few minutes, and turning the printer back on will clear this up.
Burn your printer and sacrifice it to C'thulu. Then buy a new one.

Sorry, but C'thulu only wants the heart of the printer.... so you need to sacrifice the toner or ink cartridges only.
