The 11:11 Code

The New Diabolicals

Well, one thing I know about this modern day and age is that there's nothing like a good old code theory to get the public stirred up, but some of these things mentioned by Mr Geller are truely fascinating and quite creepy:eek: . He mentions details about 9/11 which are rather astounding and links it to the number 11. Yuri also adds how the public often say how they regularly see the numbers '11:11' on their clocks as if they are trying to say something - like it's a code waiting to be answered.
Anyway, I don't defy you for being sceptical but read the link below and then post your own assumptions from it. But it is strange.

Pops ain't gonna be around long.

-His elevens are up.
-What?

His elevens.
Look at the back of his neck.

See them two cords sticking out?
They make like an eleven.

Once they're up, that's it.
He's a goner.

Oh, boy.

Maybe he'll come back in
the world as something better.

Personally, when l die,
l'd like to come back as a bird.

Why?

Because, man,
l could fly free and easy...

and if l saw someone
l really didn't care for...

l'd drop a hot one on 'em.

When l die,
l want to be excremated...

and l want my ashes sprinkled
in the old Briny.

At least l'd be part of the sea
forever and ever.

Oh, that's beautiful, man.
Beautiful.

When l die, l want to go
just like my daddy--boom...

peaceful, in his sleep.

They told me my grandmother died
peacefully in her sleep.

lt's a good way to go.

nobody dies peacefully
in their sleep.

That's what they tell people
to make them feel good.

You want to know how people
really die in their sleep?

First, they go to bed.

Then about : in the morning
they go...

Get a doctor.

l ain't never
goin' to sleep again.

l have to make some money.

How can l make some money
down here?

Why don't you do
what they all do?

-What?
-Beg.

Beg. l tried that, but l'm not
really proficient in that yet.

Bye-bye, children. l love you.
Have a safe trip.

Yeah, and the answer is that it is 11 minutes after 11 am. Time for some coffee and a light brunch.

11/11 is an important day in Oz.

Prime Minister Gough Whitlam was sacked on 11 November.

Ned Kelly was hanged on 11 November.

Also:
1) When I see 11:11 on my clock radio I always think of goals being scored in Aussie Rules.
2) At least it's a date that when natives of the US write it, the rest of the world can understand when they're talking about. I always thought that 9/11 was a US plot to impose their weird date system on the rest of the world.

Verily, my Pacific similar-date-arranging-chum. It's 11/9. Can't those Americans even tell the date?! >.>

WWI ended on the elevnth hour of the elenth day of the eleventh month, 1918... which has two 1s in it, and if you subtract 18 from 19, you get another one! Coincidence?

I think not...

Back in the 90's there was this gal who published a few books who went by the name of Solara. My personal opinion, after reading her books that she was a nutbag. I was a serious new-ager at the time and I still thought her to be a nutbag. Anyway, Solara is where the theory comes from. What it originally meant was, if I remember right, that on November 11th of 2011 (or any November 11th, for that matter, pick one) there would be a huge galactic phenomenon where a rift would occur in the lower dimensions and several thousand of us would move to the higher dimensions...specifically the 7th, as I recall. There we would life in light castles and eat fruit all day and live in bliss. Sounds nutty, I know. But alot of ppl bought it.

Further, I'll note that eleven is not a truly fascinating number, but three is. Three is the first odd Prime (you really can't count 1, as it IS itself); there are three states of matter (animal, vegetable, mineral) in one sense and three in another (solid, liquid, gas); trinary star systems are exceptionally common; and so on, and so forth.

Eleven just occurs alot by probability.

Three is different.

Amazingly, the phrase "It's Bullshit" has exactly 11 letters!
spooky or what?
Uri might be on to something here...

A few years ago, Viz comic tried to do an experiment in mind power. They asked all their readers to concentrate hard at around 8am GMT on Uri Geller's sphincter to prolapse. 8am was chosen as that was thought to be the most probable time Uri would take a dump. If everyone concentrated hard enough, it was hoped telepathy could be proven by giving Uri a bad case of bum grapes.
Sadly, as far as I know nothing came of it.

I'm not going to argue with the merits of 3, but I'm partial to 11 because:

11 x 11 = 121
111 x 111 = 12321
1111 x 1111 = 1234321
11111 x 11111 = 123454321

Nice.

Uri Geller has been thorougly exposed as a fraud. So much so, that he is used as an example of falsifying evidence in the section titled "Science and Superstition" in a logic textbook, A Concice Introduction to Logic, Hurley 9th Edition:

Donald Singleton, reporter for the New York Daily News, was familiar with Uri Geller's alleged psychic ability to bend spoons and keys and identify hand-made drawings that had been sealed inside two envelopes, one inside the other. He suspected that the latter trick was perfromed by holding the envelopes up to a strong light while the subject's attention was diverted. Priort to writing a story on Geller, Singleton performed the following test:

I went to a locksmith and got a duplicate of the strongest, thickest key on my key ring. I tried with all my might and I couldn't bend it, even by pressing it against the corner of a steel desk. Then I made a simple drawing (of an eye), wrapped it in aluminum foil, and put it in two envelopes.

I went to see Geller the next afternoon.

He tried for more than an hour, with me keeping the envelope in my sight every second, to get the drawing. And he failed.

Then he made an effort to bend the key, again with me keeping it in view every second. Again, nothing happened. Uri said that he was terribly disappointed, that this had simply been an all around bad day for him. (Quoted in Randi, 1982,29)

And if you wonder why everyone notices things like 11:11 and 12:34 on clocks, its because as human beings we notice patterns and sequences. Nothing magical or supernatural about that.

I remember that :D. A couple of issues later they had his warning about the number 11, he points out things like the fact that september is two months before the eleventh month and the Roman numeral for two looks like an eleven, and Bin Ladens name having eleven letters: Mr O.Bin Laden; Osama B. Laden; Mister Laden; Bin Laden ESQ;and Mr. Osama Bin L. :D (I had that issue at hand btw)

There are actually 7 states of matter IIRC. We only really notice three though.
