Besides Hillary Clinton, who is a given for the Dems, who have you been hearing in the political circle as possible presidential candidates in 2008? Not to make this an attacking page, but give a little bit of information about the candidate if you have any..

For example, Romney, Republican governor of Massachusetts. i don't know alot about him, but I do know Massachusetts has recently became the only state in the union to offer Universal health coverage....that could take him quite a ways..

I keep hearing Jeb Bush's name now as a potential Republican contender. I am not really familiar with his beliefs, but I hear good things about him as a governor.

I beg to differ.... Her name is thrown into the hat already, this is no guarantee she will actually run, but there is no sense in everyone throwing her name out there, since she seems to be the only major Democratic name out there, except possibly Harry Reid..

I doubt he will run, but I would like to see Sen. Russ Fiengold (D Wis) enter.

Where've you had you head buried in the sand that you haven't heard all the speculation of the last couple of years?

So far Joe Biden, Mike Gravel, and John H. Cox are the mainstream announced candidates (I'm sure there are others out there, like Fred Phelps who has supposedly announced he'll run on the GOP ticket....)

The following links list the potentials:

EXCUSE ME?! That absolute, incredibly stupid, utterly disgusting, horrid DUMBFUCK is going to run for PRESIDENT?! I wouldn't elect him to the Congress of a freaking OUTHOUSE, let alone the President of the United States.

Fred Phelps would lose in the primaries so bad it would be funny.

Hell I say we all watch him crash and burn!

*can't wait for the primaries*

I would imagine that the Bush name won't be worth two cents in the next election?

Not on my watch or that of any other Democrat who actually wants to see a liberal elected to office.

Russ Feingold for President!

Yeah!?! Who did you vote for in 2000? 2004? Not a nut? If the ticket is Phelps 2008, he has your vote.

Correct. It won't be worth a thing. Jeb will realise this and stay the fuck away from the elections.

...I didn't vote, as I only turned eighteen in 2005. Had I been able to vote...eh, at the time, judging by my political views of those times...Gore and Kerry respectively. Now? No idea. Probably the Libertarian candidate.
