PC gamer, I have no love of consoles. My current favorite is Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords. This is due to the devious AI that plays like a skilled human opponent and Stardock's outstanding loyalty and respect given to its customers and the game.

Well right now I cant stop blaying Oblivion. that bastard game. But my fave console ones are goldeneye and perfect dark. All those hours on a 4 way split screen, and I was good at it! I do believe that was the last time I won a deathmatch. Iv got perfect dark on an emulator now but Its hard to configure a ps2 pad to play it, damn those weird n64 controllers.

Gran Turismo is the blind buy game for me, I'll get it regardless.

I thought TOCA Touring Car Championship was a good solid racer with some flaws.

I liked World of Outlaws and Saturday Night somethin' or other...the sequel...

I was pretty into Monster Rancher for a while, but that might have been because I have over 2500 cds...

I thought Gladius was one of the coolest games ever. Though apparently only me and a handful of friends thought so, since I've never run across anyone talking about it negative or positive, so my hopes for a sequel are pretty much dashed...

All this is on the PS. I liked a game on the old Atari Lynx called I think Warbirds, WWI bi-plane dog fights...fantastic. I wish I had that.

Solitaire. Or if I have a partner, Gin Rummy. Or if I have a few friends over, Hearts.

With real cards and everything.

Half-Life 2 (PC. > Console. In all ways.)

Nothing was more awesome than filling 95% of your population cap with longbowmen and getting them to attack in sync. Great times.

Russian Roulette. I like to think of it as a sport, and my coach says I'm going to the national finals if I keep practicing.

Civilization II

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time and The Legend Of Zelda: Mikado's Mask were both excellent (Both For N64). On the PC I loved Caesar II, and Sim City of any variety. The Sims is also fun for the house-building aspect.

Online was awesome. I loved Zone. The mods there were extremely abusive though :p .

Its probably for the best. All my money is now inside the computer making a horrendous noise, and I miss playing other games. And my dissertation could have been better. if your lucky youll never play that cursed game.

Sim City series, seriously, who doesn't like this? Even if you hate it, you can just destroy your city by way of monster.

PS. If Spore lives up to even half of it's hype, must get Spore.

That's not the worst part. The worst is that CIV 4 does not allow alt-tabbing. I used to make my moves and alt-tab and do other work. I can't do that now and I end up spending all my comp time at the game.

wow havent heard the 3DO in forever, that bit the dust along with the Turbo Graphix 16 many moons ago, I don't even remember any games for the 3DO besides the madden one they made for it (was it madden?)

The Sim City series, the Civilization series, the Chrono Trigger series, the Final Fantasy series, and Aces High (I hate Il-2 Sturmovik and Microsoft CFS with a fucking passion).

Chrono Trigger. Right after CT is the Civ series. Can't go wrong with the Civ series. I remeber this one time, everyone was so behind, I was in the start of the Modern Era, everyone had just started the industrial era, so I gave everyone technology. As long as they could pay for it. In the end, I got an additional 1000 per turn through technology selling. That was fun. But I couldn't find anything to spend it on. Quite the delimma. But I only had to give them medicine, sanitation, steam power, and industrilization. After I got ICBMs I completely owned them all. One time I got to the modern Era while Rome was still in the middle ages (fucking amazing there). I got an ICBM. I would so love to see the look on the faces of the poor little midevial children as an ICBM explodes in the town center.

Chrono Trigger.

Ever played Chrono Cross? It's even better than Chrono Trigger (which is saying a lot).

And the soundtrack is fucking unbelievable. In some ways, it's even better than Final Fantasy VII's.

riven, pc - the original version with cardboard box and 5 discs that i still have - vive. unfortunatly i cheated and can remember all the codes etc, so its not fun anymore.
