...AND

You, my friend, rock The Rock.

Newfoundland is, and always will be, my favourite place in the world. <3 I don't think I could live anywhere else for any longer than a few weeks, now.

Prague, in the Czech Republic. A wonderful medieval city, and a culinary wonder of the world.

I'm also fond of Beijing (China), Rome (Italy) and Cozumel (Mexico).

And where I live, because it's totally beautiful, peaceful and a great place to be, and I miss the sea when I can't see it.

Uhmm,
-crete; just had the most amasing time there
-saudi arabia; weather's great most of the time :D, good food too (no, not the weird meals, just the ones with more 'normal' ingredients, so not camel parts or anything like that, or hoves of any animals. I mean shoarma, hamous, tabbouleh, all that sorta stuff and yes I know you can get that in other countries but I've never tasted it as good anywhere else)
- seychelles; beautiful beaches,

I have some other countries that i really like, but i think that at the moment these are my top 3

Geneva, Switzerland is amazingly beautiful, and the people are great.

St. Malo, France is a really nice, laid back town with a really cool walled part of town.

Ann Arbor, Michigan is a really great town that I don't get to visit nearly often enough. There is a bar there that has over 60 beers on tap and their beer menu is like a small novel.

Wow, you guys have been to a lot of places.

Outside of England, I've only been to Northern Spain. I went to Greece when I was 2 but can't remember it, and have driven through France once, but never stopped.

My favorite places would be my village in Tamil Nadu, Pokran in Nepal, Kozhikode, Azhapula and the backwaters of Kerala (a state in south India), Sri Lanka (when nobody is bombing me there)..

I also like Dallas where I lived and San Jose where I am living right now.

Havent been to too many places throughout my life, but

Philadelphia is by far my favorite, my home.
Savannah is also wonderful, and is a great town to stop by if you are in the area.

I was also a fan of Nantucket (for the scenery, not much else to do there)

Any remote mountain range far from most of civilisation, although still with internet access. Plenty of those around, I'm sure. ;)
The UK in general. Probably because of the people, who are somewhat more tolerable than US citizens. Then again, almost everyone is.
Canada. 'Cause I'm a liberal hippie pinko commie and/or a nature fiend.
Mars. Gotta love the locals.
A certain university I'd rather like to attend in a year or so.

You Westerners are happy lot -- you travel wherever you want without a visa (well, almost everywhere). Meanwhile we Russians have to haunt embassies' thresholds in order to get those hallowed stickers...

Red River, New Mexico is heaven on earth.
And also Bever Creek Ranch in Naches, Texas.
And Jamaica even though I've never been there... I really need to get out of the country...

1.New York City-I love the energy, i love how big, loud, busy and crowded it is, and unlike some, i love the people, i think they get a bad rap.

2.Vancouver, BC-It holds lots of childhood memories for me because i have family there so i have been there so many times, but it's also just a really beautiful city. I love wandering around Gastown and Robson Street.

3.San Francisco-I've only been there once, for a few days, but i just think it's really cool. It's one of my mom's favorite cities too.

4.Prince Rupert, BC-It's my home, and it's gorgeous. It's right on the ocean and we also have mountains. There are tons of lakes and rivers nearby, and lots of hiking trails and stuff. It's urbanity in the middle of nature.

Honorable mentions:

Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Edmonton, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta; Regina, Saskatchewan

I also think Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa look really pretty and really cool, but i have only driven through them, i haven't spent time in them.

I haven't been outside of North America, so my references are limited. I would love to go to Europe and see some of the great cities there, and i would love to see Sydney, Australia.
