I find the contradictions between those two articles highly amusing.
In the first Moussaoui is proud, angry and pretty much begging for a death sentence from all involved.
In the second, he is almost apologetic.
Apparently the thought of spending the next 80 years in a jail cell 23 hour a day in a cell in what is basically isolation (he couldnt be allowed contact with other inmates and the guards would be none to friendly), doesnt appeal to him.
I personally think its far better than a death sentence. Somebody, I think it was the judge, said something along the lines of 'You will be forgotten', and I think that is the worst possible sentence in his mind.
Personally, I would take death over a life sentence any day.

As to the French wanting us to extradite Moussaoui (its mentioned in one of those articles) so he can be imprisoned in the same country where his mother lives...I say screw the French. If Moussaoui is extradited to anywhere, it should be to the NorthWest province of Canada.

HAHAHAHA maybe just to add insult to injury, they aught to wall paper his cell with pictures of 72 virgins he will never see. or does that constitute torture?? even a left wing nut has to find some humor in that....

Moussaoui has been nothing but controdictory, he has been all over the place, begging for death, begging for his life, declaring his utter hatred of America and support for Islamic Terror while insisting he had a minor role in the 9/11 attacks, pleading guilty (more then once, the court forced him to think it over and gave him a phycological exam), and now declaring his innocence...

Hopefully prison will shut him up.
