Computer help...
I need to wipe out a compter so that i can reinstall the OS, the only problum is i dont know how to.:rolleyes:. so if any one can help that would be great
its a windows xp, OS if that helps.

Simple boot to the CD rom drive and follow the instructions
It will format the drive for you
dont i have to get rid of the existing OS to do that?

To set the computer to boot from CD, if a nice mobo you will need to enter the bios and go to boot, then select master boot device as your cd drive, if the cd drive is not listed disable your main harddrive as a boot and boot from secondary device, which should list your cd/dvd drive. :) good luck.
When it formats the drive is completly wiped, you do not need to get rid of the OS before formatting.

Don't worry mate it is a simple task, and their are instructions in the setup and formatting process, it couldn't be made simpler.

Yup the only real trick (for non advanced users) is geting it to boot to that CD rom ... after that it is just reading
