Instead of a list, add a review or description of the music. At least so this doesn't get moved to spam.
Currently Playing - The Flaming Lips-At War with the Mystics.
I just got this album last week and I am really enjoying it. It is a move away from their work on the Soft Bulletin (I think their best work) and seems to combine a little bit of work from Transmissions. . The album to me reflects machine making organic noises which is a pretty cool effect. There is also a little more vocal work from the band, not just Wayne. Overall, I'd give the album a 8/10.

Das boot by Kraftwerk
I downloaded it while i was drunk. Its a wierd kindof techno-type thing. Usually listen to Sabbath and Rainbow, so this is a nice change.
I hate these threads. Everyone feels the need to post ideosyncratic indie bands. Well, fuck you guys. I was listening to Britney Spears just now AND I ENJOYED IT! BWHAHAHAH!

Chulahoma EP by the Black Keys
It is a collection of Junior Kimbrough covers, and it is amazing. Kimbrough is about as unique a guitarist has ever been recorded, and the Black Keys somehow hit his style right on the head while maintaining their own sound. The songs all groove very slow but are very heavy. They make me want to get stoned. (I'm looking at you Kanabia)
I purchased Chulahoma along with Bruce Springsteen's Seeger Sessions, and I can't praise either album anymore than they deserve. The are both phenomenal.

Propagandhi - How To Clean Everything
This album is straightforward punk with socio-political lyrics. The lyrics are more vulgar than most bands who deal with these topics, but they get the point across and serve the topics well.
The Nation of Ulysses - "Plays Pretty for Baby"
"How to Kill a Mockingbird" is definitely one of my favourite flash animations.

Now Playing JazzNova - Sounds of Berlin
almost free form jazz, but still has structure to it. Its the type of music you can tune in to and just listen to for hours before you realize how much time has passed.

Just listening to a HUGE playlist of random Cusco favorites...
Simon & Garfunkel - Cecilia
Oh, such good times. Whenever my friend and I would go for Steamers (like flavoured cappucino without the coffee-ness and caffeine, just milk and flavour with foam on top), we'd hear this song without fail. Every time, we'd wonder how Cecilia could replace the 'narrator' with another guy in <2 minutes in the narrator's own bedroom. xD
Edvard Greig; Lyric Pieces Op. 12, number 6. Wait... 5. No, now it's Op. 38, number 8. Ack... this could go on for a while.

Right now, I'm listening to my teenage daughter practicing her flute in her bedroom. She's really good, and I'm often amazed that I had something to do with making her. (Musical talent runs in my family, but I never learned anything more than how to strum a guitar just good enough to get laid.)

Nothing right now, but in about 4 days and 8 hours, my new turntable (Beogram 1200, £44. I love eBay) and amp (not so hot NAD 3020i, £39) will be delivered and wired up and I'll be listening to Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon.

I have on Ohio, by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.
It is about a Vietnam protest in Ohio where four people, some of them not even involved in the protest, were shot by the National Guard after the governor declared martial law. I've been expecting a repeat of this ever since the Iraq war started, but we've been lucky so far.
