Californian elections coming.
Well, the Californian elections are coming up within the year. I'm going to tell my dad to vote for the Freedom and Peace party, since that's the closest thing California is getting to a communist/socialist. If you live in California and can vote, who are you going to vote for? If you can't vote, who are you going to convince your parents/guardian to vote for? If you're not in California, how do you think the election will come out? I hope we don't have Schwarzenegger winning again.

I don't really think it matters who California votes for anymore. Like Lewis Black said about the last election:
"You governed yourselves better when you were all doing drugs."
:)

If you don't want him to win, then why do you want your dad to vote for a party that has absolutely no chance of winning and whose goal is to get 100 votes?

As we moved from California already and lost residency...we wont be voting.
However, I will tell my family that stayed behind in Southern California to vote like they did in the last election...For Ahnold!

Given a real electoral system (mixed member/proportional representation/party list/etc.) I would vote for some combination of Green and Libertarian. Unfortunately, we continue to hold on to antiquated 200+ year-old electoral "system" (winner-takes-all), and the Libertarian candidate has decided to promote Libertarian ideology by attacking immigrants (see URL above). So, it looks like I'll be forced to go all Green this time around (I might be convinced to vote Democratic, but unfortunately neither major candidate seems to acknowledge the existence of the immigration issue...)

Why don't the Republicans choose blue like every other self-respecting right-wing party?
