Tell me; what is the basic difference between the attitude of todays civilised nations to outsiders (they all want to take our jobs, they have no sense of humour, they all hate/love us, they all like/oppose their leader, whoever that may be) and medieval attitude like that of The Tales Of Sir John Mandeville, which featured people with one leg who used their enourmous foot to shade themselves... This isn't just america to the middle east, its America to Europe, Europe to America, Europe to itself, Europe to the middle east. Like Anti- and Pro- Iraq war people. Do you really think EVERYONE in Iraq loved/despised Saddam before the war?
