Well, my school won the Stage Challenege for the first time ever...

Don't know how we got the drug awareness award... we were known as Bogan Park until a few years back I suppose BUT WE WON!

It's an anti-drugs campaign, no?

The Subway® 2006 Stage Challenge® is about more than just performing – it is also a highly successful drug and alcohol prevention vehicle.

In order to keep the event relevant to youth the prevention messages are delivered indirectly by using music, dance, costume and media personalities familiar and attractive to young people. Through these images the Subway® 2006 Stage Challenge® can take the 100% drug free experience into the new millennium.

The Subway® 2006 Stage Challenge® enhances drug prevention activities by using elements of youth culture to show that young people can have a great time without artificial stimulants. Students are encouraged to experience the natural high that comes from being part of a team performing o*n stage Students come away from this drug-free high exhilarated and feeling positive about making healthy lifestyle choices. They grow through healthy cognitive and emotional development learnt through a partnership with the performing arts.

When I went last year to see my gf perform I didn't hear anything about drugs :S.
