On a more serious note, I exercise almost every day. Bike riding's good for that.

I don't actually exercise per se, but I walk to uni and back 4 days a week, as well as going to my girlfriend's about 5 times a week. That adds up to about 18 miles a week of walking. And that's just a basic amount - it's normally about 50% more than that. So no actual exercise, but I don't have any problems with my weight or fitness despite eating a fair amount of crap.

1-3 hours walking every day. And then there's work, which can be strenuous when it's busy. Does that count as exercise?
I tend to bike for an hour a day at least, less during the weekends though. Sometimes I do some other fitness or some other sport, every once in a while i run a bit.

I go to the gym twice a week most weeks (it's been more like once lately)
I play outside with my kids everyday except Thursdays, on Thursdays I play in a gym (not like the gym, but like where you play basketball) with like 12 2 year olds, for about 45 minutes (trying to run them down so they will take a nap)
I don't have a formal exersize schedule, but I usually walk around the parking lot on my breaks, and I try to take a 30 minute walk when I get home from work, if it's not too hot, cold, rainy, or I don't get home late like I have every day this week. I also try to walk on the weekends, if I can get my GF to walk with me, or if I have time in between going out with her, driving my mom various places, and running my own damn errands.
Oh, and my 9+ hour workday is spent sitting on my rather large behind.
Gee, I wonder why I can't lose weight. :( *sigh* At least I take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hello, Warta! Long time no see. :) Shouldn't you add some exercises for your chest, legs and back? Your triceps look neglected too, but they represent 2/3 of your arm's circumference. It looks like you're working out at home, so I realise it might be difficult to incorporate too many exercises in your program, but you could add at least some push-ups, triceps extensions and squats.
I run two or three times a week and also work out two or three times a week. I'm quite bothered by the fact that I've gained some fat (not much) during the last winter, but I hope I'll be able to lose it this summer.

6:00a-7:00a work at doughnut shop

2:00-4:00 pick up all my cousins from school
4:00-6:00p pick up adults from work
6:00p-2:00a work at fast food restraunt
then I would do my homework, clean the house, and go to sleep, I got to bed around 3a. :(

I ride my bike around a bit.

Ugh. I get that, too, though I'm quite sure it's mostly due to the horrible air quality in the Houston area.
When I was in Corpus Christi again back in May of last year, I was getting a good six hours of sleep and waking up fully-rested without problem. No glazed eyes, no allergies... Perfect.

I'm 16 and in school (if thats relevant). I am a rower. This mean I would be trainning 6 days a week. At the moment it is:
Monday:Endurance Weights (that would be light weights but i do 80 reps for each different excercies of which there is five, followed by black outs. It doesnt build muscle but it makes what you have a whole load more efficent.)
Tuesday:Small Boat Session-about 6 or 9km of rowing, normally in a single, pair or double. thats why its called small boat, lol.
Wednesday: Crew Sessions. Normally about 12 km with racing peices and various technical excercises.Thats done in quads, fours and eights.
Thursday: Ergo session (ergo is a rowing machine.) doing 30 min intervals. Thats when you do 1 minute of rowing as fast as you can then you have a minutes rest x 15.
Friday:Endurance Weights.
Saturday: 2 sessions. 1st session is normally a technical session when we work on technique. Thats generally from 9:00Am-10:30AM, then short break and from 11:00 AM-12:00AM, its power rowing. Thats when half the bat rows and the other half sits the boat (keeps it balanced) afor mayb 20 strokes and then the halves switch do the same thing before switching round again.
Sorry for the lenght of that but most people dont really get rowing trainning

Well, up until about a month and a half ago, I was in the fat and lazy category. I'm currently in the fat and exercising all the time category, hoping to some day soon be in the fit and exercising 3 times a week category.
Right now, I exercise 6 out of 7 days, with only 3 of those days involving weight training. I alternate the cardio between the treadmill and eliptical and do core workouts all 6 days. I'm also eating a million times better. It was definitely the right decision.
Once I'm down to a more respectable weight, I'm hoping to reduce the extra cardio so that I'm not going to the gym, like, every day. But that's what I get for eating extra-cheesy pizza's with extra cheese and cheese on top of them all the time.

I'm a bit lazy I have to admit, but I ride my bike whereever I go, so maybe that does count as some sort of exercise?
I imagine I'd be in an even worse condition if I didn't do that.
Not as much as I used to. These days I go running a couple days a week, do Pilates (mat work, not with the machines) a couple days a week, and light weights a couple days a week. I'd like to join a club with a pool so I can swim instead of run, but don't have the money for it at the moment. I have bad ankles, so running can be problematic.
Back when I was swimming, it was an hour and a half swim in the mornings, five days a week, and weight work in the afternoons every other day. Wish I could still do that.
80 mins, once a week. And walking a little over a mile home from school. And the occasional jaunt to the fridge.

If you are trying to lose weight, cut out the weight sessions, it wont really help lose weight, its things like running, cycling, swimmig that burn fatand also improve the cardiac system.
I don't exercise, I supersize.

Strength training has its own list of health benefits as well (1 (http://www.thetrainingstationinc.com/benefitsoftraining.html), 2 (http://www.afpafitness.com/articles/StrengthBen.htm), 3 (http://www.thetrainingstationinc.com/benefitsoftraining.html) from a quick google). It's true that strength training won't burn off fat as effectively as cardio, but it still helps. Besides, while being overweight is generally considered unattractive, so is being a bean pole.
As for myself, I weight train 3 times a week and go jogging or walking for 30-45 minutes on the mornings I don't go to the gym. I also follow a fairly strict diet (although not as strict as it could be as I'm trying to gain weight).

I follow a workout regiment designed in the 1950s by the Royal Canadian Airforce. It's only 11 minutes a day, but keeps me in shape. I also play sports with my friends, and go to the gym with my girlfriend once and awhile for moral support and a nice workout. I guess average.

I'm a lazy (and relatively overweight) ****. I'm not exactly proud of that, but neither am I ashamed, so "I'm fat, lazy and proud of it" was the closest option to how I feel.
Of late, I've walked quite a bit more that I would have done heretofore, but I'm still not as active as the doctors tell me I should be. But I don't trust them anyway.
Edit: Yes, sex is apparently one of the best forms of exercise. I suppose I am not completely obese because I 'work out' that way several times a week :p

I used to be very active. I ran cross country, played volleyball, softball (I'm a girl, what can I say?) and hiked on a regular basis. Then I got on academic probation waaaaay back in high school, stopped playing sports, picked up that awful habit of smoking and now I can hardly walk a block without wheezing. Its around 2 kms (1.25 miles aprox) to school so I walk 4 kms each day. And then on Thurday afternoon I walk around 5 kms (3 miles aprox) so thats
2.50 miles X 4 + 1.25 + 3 = 13.75 miles per-week I walk which is 22 kms. Alot.

I play rugby so I have two trainings during the week and the game on saturdays. However I sometimes go for a run when I'm in the mood.
Oh, and like the above poster I walk to and from school every day. Around 1.5km (one-way) for me.
I work out everyday, normally several times. When I get up in the morning I stretch/practice yoga and then run as many miles as I can get in before I have to get ready to head into the hospital. On my lunch break (if I have time) I'll walk and/or run in the park near work. I have ballet one-two times a week for a few hours, and I play tennis and swim on my days off.
I enjoy working out. I sleep better and just feel better when I work out during the day.
I take the dog on a mile or so long walk every day, haul around things non-stop, run errands like a housewife, et cetera. No real exercise, but day-to-day business is moderately exerting.

I ride for ten minutes a day which doesn't sound like a lot but actually it's a third of your daily recommended exercise just to stay healthy and i've only been doing it for three days. My goal is to get 30 minutes everyday on my bike and help loose the extra kilos.
Yeah, I function pretty good on just five hours. Once upon a time I used to do just three hours a night.

Not happening for me lately though :/
people who exercise too much are just as ugly as people who exercize too little.
does walking to the store and carrying the groceries home count?
does it count if the store is five miles away?
does choosing not to own a car and walking everywhere instead count?
