Yesterday Pandemic Studios announced Mercenaries 2!

It will be released for PS3 and is rumored to be on Xbox 360.I am currently jumping with joy nearly peeing my pants.Check out Pandemics Project Q and see why.If thats concep art,I am so happy with boats and swimming.In fact I was playing Mercenaries yesterday and was so doubtful of a sequel because Lucasarts didnt really care for the game.They even closed down the forums on us Mercenaries fan.Im definetley buying a PS3 now.

2?! Wooot! I was already planning on getting the Revolution (the only time I'm going to call it "Wii" is if I just said "Gonads and strife make you go") and the PS3 anyhow though.

According to Square-Enix sources they are, but it has been touch and go for a while now, and it could go either way.

Yeah, I will have mixed feelings about that. One hand, it sounds good to have all the new graphics and what not. But on the other, well, it just takes away from the "sacredness", if you will, of the original game, IMO.
