Do you have scars? If so, where? How large?

I've got the following 4 :

A thin, long scar right over my right knee, where I cut myself while carving a stick while I was a kid

A scar shaped like an arrowhead on the palm of my left hand, when I fell down some stairs while carrying glass bottles

A scar on my tummy, right under my left breast, where my father once stubbed out a cigarette

Several fine, white scars on my right wrist, hardly visible, where I tried to commit suicide when I was 13.

What scars do you have?

Oooo...a gross topic! :p

I have three...one on my right elbow from when I fell off my bike. It's mostly unnoticable now, but still visible if I point it out.

The other two are from cysts I've had lanced. Both about an inch long...one under my right armpit, the other directly on my tailbone.

Getting a cyst lanced really sucks!

I have a small one on my left side, above my hip, from chicken pox (of all things) and one on the little finger of my left hand that totally removed my finger print! (could be useful!)

OMG! Plague!

Erm, I only have 2 scars, and neither are particularly noticable. One on the palm of my right hand, where I tried to stop myself from breaking my coccyx on black ice; and one on my right knee where I fell of my bike as a kid.

Actually, that one on my hand had faded:(

Well, I got several:

One on my right hand where a friend once tried if his pair of scissors were still ok...

One on my chest, I don't know where I got that one from.

And a nice one developing on my left knee due to a Baseball Injury (no comment :P)

A scar on my tummy, right under my left breast, where my father once stubbed out a cigarette

I have one of those too on the right side of my belly button. Although I did ask a friend to do it I was fairly drunk at the time, you think she'd know better >_<. Oh, and very painful :(

Also I have two scars on my right leg. Both of them are where I lost a chunk of skin, and are almost in the exact same place. I did one when I dropped a bicycle rack on my leg when I was 14ish. And the other when I was jumping around and banged down really hard on something when I was 17ish.

Alllllllso have a scar on my pinky finger I got from opening my farthers poket knife with my teeth. And finally one which spells PH34R across my belly. I got that one from sunbaking for 6 hours without sunscreen, except for the PH34R across my belly. I'm such a nerd :p . Oh, incidently, I got 2nd degree burns from that episode, so SLIP SLOP SLAP kids!

Only small white ones

- stomach, a small pony bit me (ouch)
- ankle, unfortunate crash with me, my bicycle and a car Actually, it's not a scar. My ankle is still swollen, 14 years after the accident
- knee, unfortunate crash with me and a car

- chin, fell from swing
- forehead, strumbled on stony soil
- top of the head, my cousin slammed carbox (?!) door down while I was still taking some stuff out.

I also have artery (pulse artery?) in the middle of my right palm. I dont know how it's possible but I noticed it few hours after my classmate had kicked my wrist.

edit: apparently, a scar on my other knee too, can't remember what I've done, very old one anyway.

I have a few, not sure how many, never actualyl counted. But the bigger ones are:
1. Below my right knee where I accidenttaly gouged myself with a screw driver
2. A wide thin scar also on that leg from skinning (pretty deeply) it getting out of a pool
3. A depression in my left index finger from cutting myself cleaning an axe
4. My right arm used to be striped with scars from running into a rosebush. Sadly they've all faded.

The largest would be a scar ~5 cm^2 on my left arm, not too far from the shoulder, due being burned after getting something (I don't remember what) boiling over it when I was around 2 years. (I don't remember it, but remember talking about it a few years later)

Then I have a couple of very small ones, most on my hands. Mostly due to getting burnt when soldering something.

I've got the worst kind of scarring; one that isn't visible but that occasionally flares up and really, really hurts. Got hit in the chest by a flying hockey ball about 4 years ago, and the scar tissue has never really healed over.

I've got one on the inside of my right knee, where I dropped a knife on it. One just above my right wrist, where I burned it on an oven shelf. One on the back of my left hand, just below and to the left of my little finger, which I don't have a clue how I got. One on the top knuckle of that same little finger. Not got a clue about that one either.

And I have a dent in the bone on my forehead, where I smacked my head into a chair when I was about 1. You can't see anything, but you can feel it.

hey, this is interesting. I have more scars than I thought. I just found another scar in my tummy. It's from an offroad photography session. I decided to take a shortcut from a rock cliff (straight down) and aimed at a tree (to reduce my speed). I just didn't notice this small branch on otherwise bare stem. Fortunately it was winter and I had thick clothes on me.

Ive got a couple:

Big one (about 5 inches) on my left leg below the knee, I wiped out hard while snowboarding.

One about 1/2 and inch long on my right thumb, ex-girlfriend bit of a chunk :P

Permanent blood in my right eye (not too much thankfully), from when a guy punched me without warning.

And several mroe on my hands and lower arms from my lovelly (sorta) cat

1) Appendix
2) Right thumb when I tried to squash a tuna can flat
3) Puncture hole from reinflation of lung(s)
4) Aneurysm (http://www.aneurysm.co.uk/) operation
5) Cut on right knee when I tripped over once ( but when I last looked could hardly see it )

My dad had a really cool puncture mark in the middle of his forehead where he fell onto a chain-link fence with spikes in. He woke up to find he was stuck to the pavement by his own blood.

Was born with cleft palate (or harelip as is the more common term), though I happened to be lucky enough to have been born on the day a very distinguished surgeon who specialised in exactly this field came to visit the hospital not far where I lived. I was immediately operated and now have not much of a big scar left, just two small lines under my nose where no hair will grow.

- scar on my right leg, about four centimetres long (got drunk one night and cut open my leg on the pedal of a bike, don´t ask me how, was so drunk I didn´t notice my leg was covered in blood untill I went to the bathroom)

- on both knees small scars from bumps and falls over the years.

Derren Brown (weird British guy with a show on Channel 4) uses a cool trick on members of the public - he'll pick out a stranger at random, then he'll start telling them stuff about them. One of the most common things he says is 'You have a scar on your right knee'. Apparently, about 80% of people have a scar on one knee or the other, so if he gets the wrong knee, the person will be impressed anyway.

Lets see.....

From biggest to smallest...

There's a rather nasty looking one on my left knee. It's about three inches long. I tripped over a fire wood spliter. It looks really bad, but it wasn't - I didn't even get it stitched.

I've got one about an inch long on the palm of my right hand, at the base of my ring finger. I dove into a lake when I was a kid and hit something nasty on the bottom. The doc who stitched it up said I was really lucky because it came very close to severing an important nerve in my hand.

There's a vee-shaped one, also about an inch long, on my left big toe. I got that when I stepped on a light bulb at the beach.

Then there's a small one - maybe a quarter inch - on the thumb side of the first joint of my left index finger. I accidently stabbed my self washing a kitchen knife.

I had the Chicken Pox, but no scars from that.

I have three scars:

Two 4 inch scars on my left forearm from surgery when I broke it 4 years ago. Now I have two metal plates and about six screws in my arm. One of the scars is three times the width of the other.

And one scar on my right ankle, hardly visible now, from when my bike fell over and the kickstand put a 3 inch gash in my leg. No stitches, hospitalization, or anything like that, but the wound never completely healed.

Neither experience was very fun.

Well, let's see ...

I have a small scar on the inside of each forearm from when I was in a knife-fight in Vietnam.

I have a long, very faded scar down each side of my groin from when I had a double-hernia operation at the age of ten.

I have a smal scar from my appendectomy.

I have a scar down almost the full length of the outside of my right, upper leg, from the operations to repair my femur after my parachuting accident.

I have a fairly recent scar from just below my navel to just above my pubic bone from when they removed my cancerous prostate.

And numerous small scars here and there from other mishaps.

I wear them all proudly as evidence of being a true survivor. :)

Right foot sliced it open on the bottom steping on a metal garage hoarding.
My fingers and prints are covered in marks
Left thumb between the hand knuckle and joint got cut up pretty bad to the bone by a sardine tin.
My hands from work
Right now they are covered in scratches
Left eye on the side finger nails
Scar tissue in my knees and shoulders.

I have a few visible, most are completely or almost completely invisible, but I'll list the major ones:

-Small one on my lower eyelid from a drop of grease when I was 5, almost invisible except in the right angle of light
-Technically, my entire nose should be a huge scar, but the skin was all scraped off in a fall when I wasn't quite 3 so it's perfectly normal skin now, freckles and all
-One on my left hand, on the back in a line down from my thumb almost to my wrist, all that's left is a slight brownish tinge, from riding on a skateboard on my butt (I don't remember how the back of my hand got cut, either, so don't ask. ;) )
-One on my lip that's invisible unless I stretch my lip with my tongue behind the exact spot, from mom hitting me in the mouth with a golf club (I was 13, I believe, and it was an accident, honest! xD She used to practice in the living room, and one day she swung a little too far back when I was a little too close, and WHAM! Knocked out one tooth and fragmented another; that was one interesting trip to the ER.)
-One on my shoulder, same colour as the rest of my skin but slightly dented, from a wart that just refused to go away for aaaages
-Another on the same shoulder, a few inches away, from where I got attacked by a rusty sign in a mall parking lot (Actually, a mall where we're living now. Last time we visited, the sign was tipsy because it was one of those ones you can move and it was missing a little leg, and I stepped on it and it cut across my upper arm.), same colour as my skin except for one small light spot and a freckle, about 3.5 cm long now, the cut was about 5 cm long when I got it 7 years ago)
-One on my opposite arm, actually still visible even though I got it when I was a toddler, from a badly given booster shot. (It's a little bigger than the needle now, though. It was about 1cm in diameter last I checked.)

I can't even count the number of times I scraped my knees, even scraped all the skin off both knees, when I was younger, but thankfully I only have the scars above that are visible, except for a couple of little stretch marks as a mean reminder of the weight gain I got when my father still lived here and was really stress-inducing.

One on my left arm, where I fell onto my bike when I was about ten. It's faded now; at the time you could see the layers of fat and flesh beneath the skin. Damn chainrings.
One on my left, lower lip where some guy I'd never seen me before punched me in the face in the street.
My left hand; middle finger, don't know how, thumb from missing what I was supposed to be sawing at the time, and just below my thumb from a fairly-recent burn.
The last one I remember is one of my eyebrows; I somehow hung myself by it from the corner of the table when I was a kid.

There might be others I can't see.

I have a scar that's 2 inches long and 1/2 an inch wide on my left outter thigh. When I was 5, I was sitting in an aluminum lawn chair that had a jagged edge and my neighbor turned a cartwheel and knocked me and the chair off the porch. It ripped my leg open and I had to have 10 stitches. I screamed "WHOA NELLY!" the entire time the doc was sewing me up. It was something my Grandpa used to say which means "stop."

I have a burn scar about the size of a half dollar on top of my right hand. I got it from lifting the lid off of a pot last year. The steam rushed out and only had contact with my skin for about 3 seconds. It left one hell of a scar.

I have a very thin scar about 2 inches long on top of the same hand from where I walked by a broken fluorescent lightbulb that was sticking out of a garbage can. It sliced my hand open and the powder thats in those bulbs made the cut even worse. The scar is a very bright white.

I have scars on every finger of both hands. Best one being on my right thumb where I got cut to the bone on a home-made sled, over an inch long now. Got a scar down my abdomin where I had surgery when I was about a month old. Scar on my right arm where I got stabbed. Scar through my left eyebrow where my brother punched me when I was a kid (amusingly he near broke his hand).

Lotsa scars.

Edit: Ooh forgot my newest one, I was cutting some poison ivy vines out that were growing in the seams of my siding and the knife I was using broke, ran my right index finger forward when it broke and got stabbed pretty good. It's still healing but it's going to be a wicked scar. Still got blood stains on my shoes where I was bleeding from it.

Edit2: I also probably have several across the top of my skull front to back where I was spurred by a rooster as a little kid, though I never cut my hair short enough to know.

Several on my skull, one about three inches long, only visible if my hair is wet. The girl that cuts my hair has stopped showing surprise.

One that runs from the outside corner of my lower eye lid, in toward the center and then down to the top of my cheek bone.

One that bisects my lower lip to my chin.

6 on my right hand on the palm and through to the back.

5 on my right forearm, through the inside to the outside, one large one on my right bicep.

4 on my left forearm.

A dozen on my torso, front and back, 2- 3 inches long.

one on my right knee, two inches long.

One on the arch of my foot 4 inches long.

Edit: Peech just reminded me of a circular steam burn I have on my wrist.

3 scars

1- just over my right knee from when I was a kid. I was running, playing, in a campground and didn't see a tree root sticking up out of the ground. It skewered my knee. Hurt like crazy, and I remember my own blood reminded me of tomato soup :P

2- a line about 3 inches long on my right side from when I had my appendix removed in grade 6. No stitches. It was really creepy thinking that all that was holding my insides in was a piece of clear tape! :P

3- a little one less than an inch long on the back of my left hand from when I was carrying a bin of groceries for a delivery at work, swung a door open, grabbed the handles of the bin, and started in... but apparently the door took issue with that and came back to bite me. :P The metal handle scraped pretty hard when the door came closed on me.

5. Under my chin from falling while running away drunk following the best steal of my university career.

i think i almost have too many to list. the entire back side of my right leg, the right side of my neck and most of my face is scar tissue from being burned as a child. most of it has faded in the 14 years or so since but they're still noticable up close. on my right elbow i have a large scar from a bicycle accident and on my left elbow the same. both knees have multiple scars from various childhood adventures, and i have a long one on my right shoulder from when i fell out of a tree in college and then tried to sew up the wound myself. my hands have multiple scars from working as a carpenter and the most notable is one on my thumb where i was shot with a nail gun.

I have one scar; a couple of inches above my left eyebrow. I seem to remember it being more noticeable when I was younger... had to go take another look at it.

Got it when I was about 4 years old. I had just hopped out of the bathtub, and I was running around the apartment stark naked, without really having towelled off. Slipped, and cracked my head into the edge of the cofee table. Cut straight to the bone.

Since then, I always make sure my feet are dry when I run around stark naked.

EDIT: Actually, I lied. I have a second scar on my left leg where I tore off a patch of skin playing on some sharp rocks (fully clothed.) Hair doesn't grow in that little patch...

...okay, I'm confused... what happened to that scar? I thought scars were forever? My lack of scars is scarring me...

No wait... I've got multiple little scars on my hands from years of manual labour. Phew...

7 scars

Outside of lower right leg 8cm long by 2 wide in the middle - Motorcycle accident where I was reversed into by a car coming out of a driveway - no damage to me until I landed on a sharp stone in the road.
Right Knee - three different scars - 1. sharpened studs in a rugby match 2. fell of a roundabout when stoned 3. don't remember (probably stoned again)
Left knee - surgery to remove bone chips (caused by a cut block on turf)
Right Wrist - Jellyfish sting - untreated
Left hand - thin white scar between first and second metacarpels. A piece of broken glass fell out of a window and embedded itself in my hand.
Left Armpit - removal of a large cyst

That is what I remember at the moment

Here are some of my scars:

One on my right pinky for picking it. Sometimes blood comes out of it. Taste like copper, so don't eat it often.

I think that's it, but i'll tell you if any more pop up.

SCARS!!

Ok i have one on my left elbow, from falling off a mini moto (in my defence it only had one handle bar... and i maxed it out, to 35mph, and i had no safety gear, my head hit the ground hard. :P).

Left knee cap, that was also from the mini moto.

Left forearm, a small one i don't care what from.

Back of my right hand, right above my middle finger knuckle, from playing cards.

Scars on both shoulders due to a accident younger when a light broke over my head... lots of glass.

I've only got one scar of any consequence. On the outside of my left ankle is the scar from a titanium screw which kept my bones in place while they and the numerous ligaments and tendons I tore when I tried to skim-surf at Long Beach, WA. I suffered a Maison-Neuf fracture (a kind of radial, twisting break which appeared like a spiral on the x-ray -- I know I've got that name wrong) of my left fibula when the skim-board I was trying to mount for only the second time slid out from under my right foot. The forward momentum of my left foot placed it directly beneath my ass, which acquired backward momentum from the slip. WIth nowhere to go but down, my ass, and with it my torso and head, fell straight down on top of my already inverted left ankle. The resulting torque snapped the fibula, and all I wanted to do for the rest of my life (which at that point I was wishing to be mercilessly short) was scream. I didn't want to breathe in, even -- just scream out.

Thing is, within 8 days, I was to start my first teaching job. Which I did. In a wheelchair on Vicodin. Now that's a trip.

I learned from that incident to never try anything new with regard to novel modes of transportation that involve balance when you're over 25. I shortened that, in a bout of throbbing recovery and cynicism to "never try anything new." I've since retracted that drastic abbreviation, but I can still occasionally hear the sound my snapping bones and ripping sinew made -- usually right before I fall asleep to imagined sounds of the ocean, still my favorite place.

The most noticeable scar I have is the big ugly one on my chin. I also have a small knife stab scar on my left forearm, several little ones on my hands from playing around with knives with friends of mine (I'm no longer quite that reckless) a few on my left hand from punching out a plate glass window, and a few little ones around my left knee.

Tons of scars on my elbows, and one on my knee from skateboarding (down a hill... in kent... falling off and travelling along the ground for five metres... on those points... in pain... looks for sympathy :p )

I also have them on my knuckles on both hands where I had ringworm at the age of around 8/9.

I have a scar on my forehead, funny enough shaped like a lightning bolt vaguely, very undefined curves though. Done by playing football, and trying to head it and a sharp bit caught me.

*searches body*

Got loads on my ankles from various things.

On the bit just before my wrist on the edge of my hand from the kent incident also.

Erm.. one on my eyelid (believe it or not) from a stone being flicked up onto it and gashing it.

*thinks about how much he has been through in his life*

One between my thumb and index finger, the loose skin when u make an L shape. I believe it was with a kitchen knife.

*decided despite the thread being about these things, that nobody is actually interested*

and last put not least.. and quite odd really.. so im not gonna say. Lets just say that one is in a place no man would wish it :(

I've been accused of being emo plenty of times. I don't say anything, and they leave it alone. After all, you're only emo if you think you're emo. And just because you cut or attempt suicide doesn't make you emo.
Hate to interrupt, but that sounds really weird.

"Hey, you tried to kill yourself, but it's okay, it's okay, you're not an emo."

Priorities have gone a bit askew, methinks.

'Emo' is a very new thing. People who attempt suicide are most certainly not all emo, not even at the time they do it. What about people who attempt suicide but lead otherwise outwardly 'normal' lives? They're not emo. They don't run around bragging about doing it, they try to hide it. Emos as we know them glamourize and are too scared to go further than play. If they really tried, we wouldn't hear from them, just about them. They need a good smack upside the head to get some sense into 'em, and stop whining just because life is what it always has been: unfair.

I have one on my head, but you can't see it, it is still covered by hair. I got that form trying to do a backwards salto in a swimming pool and hitting the side with my head.

And two across my left forearm, very visible from breaking my arm: I fell when trying to jump from a tree to a rooftop. Girls allways tell me it's sexy :D

Firstly..sorry to be dense, but what the hell is 'Emo'?? are we talking about Emo Phillips or something else???

Anyhoo, on to the scars.
I have a couple of nice deep depressions in my shoulder from BCG's, oh and for previous posters info, and I quote.."BCG is a strain of Mycobacterium bovis, the organism that causes TB in cattle. This organism has been modified in the vaccine so that it produces immunity against TB without causing the disease. It is a live vaccine – that is, the bacteria in the vaccine are still alive but are weakened so that they do not cause TB disease."

A strange looking stitch scar from a cancer I had removed from my right thumb when I was a kid, it looks like a #

Got a half inch long while scar on the left side of my palm where a knife skidded on the bone while I was boning out a forequarter of beef, penetrated all the way through and almost out the back of my hand but I never felt a thing cause my hand was virtually frozen from handling the chilled meat.

Small scar and a dent on my right shinbone where I was shot with a smallbore rifle by a friend when we were messing around as kids.:sniper:

I don't know whether it qualifies as a scar but my skull has a strange fold in it from when I was knocked from my bike as a kid and, as well as dislocating my shoulder the impact split the bone on the left side of my cranium but didn't break the skin (a sub-dural fracture). It was decided to let it heal naturally, apparently, (thanks a lot, Doc.) which left me with a nice little ridge and fold running from forehead to occipital and a bloody hard job to find a hat that fits..

One question for Cabra Girl, if I may; you say your dad stubbed a ciggy out on your tummy:eek: ...was he ever done for the abuse you appear to have suffered?? I have had dealings with Irelands woefully inept social services system myself, it was not a happy experience.:upyours:

i have and inch and a half long scar running down my forehead from my hairline which i got from running through a glass door when i was about 18 months old. apparently i was chasing after a dog and it nipped through the gap cuz the door was slightly ajar(sp?) and i just went straight through. my dad got arrested at the hospital cuz one of the nurses didn't believe the story and thought he had done the damage to me.

also have a scar on my knee from tripping while running down a path down a cliff and landing on a spikey rock.

another scar under my eyebrow and a small one in the outside corner of my left eye i got when i got really really stoned and passed out while standing up. smacked my face into a granite wall on the way down.

numerous scars on my hands from fiddling with sharp objects such as scalpels, razors, penknifes, neolithic flint tools throughout my child hood and to the present usually in the context of trying to find out how sharp they were .

also have a small lump on my forehead from when i drank a whole bottle of zibanir (from cyprus, 63%, illegal) in about 3-4hrs. woke up with numerous injuries including a huge lump on my leg which turned into a heart-shaped bruise the size of a dinner plate, a 6 inch graze down my right arm, numerous grazes on my head which bled profusely. this was nearly a year ago and the lump on my forehead hasn't gone. no-one knows how i got the injuries - theories include falling out of a tree (i climb trees when i'm drunk), being beaten up, being hit by a car, falling down some stairs. i was found under a tree by the roadside in the morning so any of them could be true really.

also have a couple of light burn marks on my arms from when i passed out onto the embers of a bonfire. i was rescued very quickly so i didn't get to much damage.

EDIT: also got numerous scars on my nuckles from my skin splitting deep from eczema. and i have a scar on my right forearm but i have know idea about its provenance. i also have two identical scars on either side of my torso just above my pelvis. they are both sort of zigzags but composed of multiple lines which are quite thick, some are raised, some are dented. havn't got a clue how they happened but i've had them as long as i can remember and sometimes they disappear altogether. maybe something to do with my birth? who knows. and a couple of scars from chicken pox.

EDIT2: just found another that i thought had gone on my left shin. its about 3 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. very faint and slightly dented. it's mostly covered by dense hair so it's not really noticeable. happened getting out of a canoe in a swimming pool before my legs were hairy. skinned my shin on the sharp edge of the lip of the canoe cockpit thingy. didn't even realise it had broken the skin until someone pointed out i was leaving puddles of watery blood everywhere. took ages to heal and was a deep purple scar about 5 inches by an inch for quite a while.

Emo is a new 'subculture' that glorifies teenage depression/angst, music based around the depression/angst, and suicide attempts. They can be recognized by dressing all in dark colours with long, greasy hair that hangs in their eyes (a few have different hair or dress with a highlight or two of brightness, but this is the standard AFAICT), and the measly little scratches on their arms/bodies where they pretend they're trying to commit suicide just to be 'cool'. IMHO, they're doing a lot to ruin any credibility older generations might have found in suicide attempts. Suicide is a serious subject, it should not be joked about, and as far as I can tell, the 'Emo' kids are just doing it for the sake of being cool.

I have one on my forehead after falling head-first onto a concrete floor (I cannot remember any pain though... then again, I can't remember anything within a minute or two of the fall) and one very small one on my hand where I got a dart once. do you really want to know?

I will start at the "top" and go down....

on the top of my head (near the crown) I have a scar where I got in a fight with a girl and she hit me with a wire coat hanger and peirced my scalp, they had to shave my head and give me 4 stitches and a tetnus shot.

on my right eye lid, I have a scar near my eyelashes from a surgery

on my left cheek I have a barely noticable scar from a burn from hot grease that was flicked at me when I was 3

I have a scar on my upper abdomen near the middle from lapriscopic surgery, I also (from the same surgery) have a scar in my belly button, and one on my left hip.

I have a c-section scar

I have 4 scars on my hands 1 from a catfish, 1 from when I burned my hand on the oven getting a cake out, two on my right and (top and palm) where I was impaled by a peice of metal when my mom slammed my hand in the car door (yes, it went through one side and came out the other)

I have a scar on my thigh from where I was stabbed with a nail file in a fight, a scar on my ass from when I was in the same fight and the guy bit me.

I have a scar on the shin of my left leg where I slid into 2nd base and ripped half the skin off my leg on a broken bottle that was hiding in the sand

how many is that? 13? I am missing 2... I have 15.....

oh, my mom peirced my ears without my permisson when I was a baby, so that's the other two.

I have a scar on my chin/jaw from falling in a swimming pool when I was seven or eight. Not sure how I managed this, but I hit my chin on the side of the pool on my way down, had to get stitches.

I have a small scar on the back of my left hand. I'm really not sure what it's from; my best guess is that it's from a hospital visit where I had an IV, but I don't even know if that would leave a scar.

I have a scar near the inside of my right elbow that I've had as long as I can remember. My parents claim it's from some shot I had to have when I was little.

On the right side of my right calf I have a mostly faded scar that looks like I got clawed by something. That's from when I was 13 and at a water park; I stepped on one of the plastic grate thingies that drains water, and it snapped. That was fun.

I think that's all.

a weird circular scar on my left arm i recieved when i was bored and i decided to get rid of an annoying freckle

there are also the scars on my leg which look like freddy kreugar took a swipe at it
there's a scar on the side of my face from when i hit my head on the side of the drawer beside my bed

there's the scars from having the chicken pox and scratching like mad
and the many small scars from other burning incidents
and of course the scar from my bcg injection

*looks* I guess I'm the least scarred person on NS General. I've got a couple of little eczema (sp?) scars on my right wrist from when I was younger, and there's a nice scar on my left index finger because I whacked a scalpel knife against it. I didn't realise what had happened until my friend (I was in an Art lesson at school) started screaming. It didn't really hurt, but I had to hold my hand in the air with tissue wrapped around it for about 30 minutes. Not much fun.

I have a small one right above my upper lip, a circular one to the left of my left eye. Not sure how either of those happened.

I also have a burn scar on the back of my right knee that I got from brushing up against a propane lamp while camping.

I also have a knife-shapped burn scar on my chest from my girlfriend.

Also from her, a rather deep cross-shapped pair about 3 inches above and a bit to the left of my belly button.

A long one from my lower back upward across my right ribcage.

I have a few more small ones on my back, shoulders, sides, chest, legs, and stomache.

A bite mark on my face has yet to fully go away after several weeks, so that may become a scar.

The back of my right hand, as well as both my forarms, have a few light fingernail scars, mostly from my best friend.

A small dot on my foot from a couple years ago when I jumped off my bed and landed on my spike braclet, which was face up :( With big, 2 inch metal sharp spikes.

I have a small gouge out of my left shin from.....I don't even know what I hit, but it was backstage and it was dark, I tripped over something.

3 small ones from when I tripped going up an escelater. You know how the steps arn't smooth, but have the parts that stick out? They went right into my left knee :(

A few small ones on my feet and ankles, from camping, and general outdoors barefootedness.

A half-inch long scar on my forehead just at the hairline from when I was 2 and tripped over a rolled-up carpet, hit my head on a wood sofa edge, and had to get 4 stitches.

A similar size scar on my knee from dropping a glass juice jar and trying to catch it again after it hit the edge of the counter and it broke.

A small crecent moon on the inside of my foot just above my arch from when I was riding my bike in sandals and got clipped by a car. (ALWAYS wear shoes when riding bikes.)

A scar on the back of one of my fingers right beside the nail where someone was running, and stepped on my hand on some rough concrete.

A dent in my leg from a nurse when I was born giving me a shot badly. Very weird.

A random assortment of other minor scars, mostly from things I don't know what they're from, and the rest are all boring, so you won't care anyway.

Cabra West is German. Not sure when she moved to Ireland, but I don't think it was here during her childhood.

I only have one proper scar, on my forehead. I tripped over my shoelaces and smacked my head off my Gran's doorstep when I was 6 or 7. It's faded, but it's still visible. I have a handful of injection scars too.

On my right knee from my ACL reconstruction. A frakenstein like one on my lower back where I had a large mole removed. On my right wrist where I had a piece of vein removed.

I gots a few, almost all of them w/funny stories.

The big one on my right leg is shaped like Greenland, about 2 inches long - where my brother stabbed me with an ice-pick.

There's one on my left palm an inch long, up to the wrist, where i got my hand slit open at the community college attempting to retrieve one of those little super bouncy-balls from this other dude. I had to take a soft wet tissue to stick the vein back in my hand.

There's the one on top of the same hand about an inch long, where a mailbox dipped on its post and cut it (while not drawing blood  ). My wife has, bafflingly, the same wound in the same place (not the only baffling thing about us, believe me)

There's the one on my right hand ring finger meeting the palm that goes the whole width of the finger - i got it when i was too young to remember and my parents refuse to tell me how it happened.

There's the two-incher on my back that looks like i was stabbed in the back intentionally - i wasn't, it was an industrial accident (basically, i stood up in the wrong place) - but it's a good story about ex-friends to the new ones. :D

There's the one on my right arm, where i got to see each muscle and the bone inside (i was dropping stuff into the tubas beneath me while i was filming a basketball game on the guest platform) - i was reaching past a poorly grounded electrical box and made the circuit as i cut myself, so i didn't feel it tear the skin. Just a shock. A little later, i pulled my arm up, and it opened the non-bleeding wound to show me the goodies underneath (the muscle was sparkly and fuschia coloured) :)

There's also the one on my right brow, where i was having heat stroke out of the hot tub, and passed out over the toilet seat, clipping my face with the toilet paper dispenser. That one was pretty funny too. Lotta blood.

I can't remember any more at the moment but i know i have more.

I have a scar on my right shin, caused by a elderly man riding a bicycle into me while I was exiting my school bus in primary school. The impact drove a hole into my shin and sent me flying into the drain.
