Has it been a year already?

This month marks one year since I've been here. One year of laughs (only sometimes was it at someone else's expense), frustration, embarrassment, bitching and moaning, desparate cries for attention, occasional flirting, RPing, confusion, post whoring, flaming, flame-baiting, debating, argueing, seeking advice, and giving unsolicited advice.

Here's to another year of more of the same.

Only one year? Pitiful. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just kidding.

Congrats I guess, lol.

Looking at your profile, you still have over three weeks before you've made a year. But yay! anyway. I'm only just over two months away from two years. Two years of my life, wasted. Holy crap.

Have you really been here for that long? Were you sort of quiet for a while?

Didn't come on the forums until October 2004. I've been quietly building my post count, and it seems only now people are noticing me.

I'm nearing the 2-year mark (my first "serious" nation, i.e. one that I actually used for anything and remember the name of, was created in June 2004).

Wow. Only one year. I feel ashamed of my post count. I've been here for ages.
Don't be. Actually, it takes more tenacity to stick around for a while yet accumulate almost no post count at all, than to be sucked into addiction with NS General and start posting eight thousand times a year (give or take). &^^;

I thought of doing that, but was too impatient. ~

Well, IMHO, it's a much better place for having you in it! So there! :p

There are worse addictions to have. Any other forum, for example.

It wasn't really a conscious decision on my part. I just wasn't that bothered by the forum until last summer, when I was extremely bored being stuck at home while everyone I knew was on holiday. I post far less during term time, then go crazy during the holidays.

So I noticed. I, on the other hand, am a full-time poster, explaining why I have 9,000 posts whereas you have 5,000.

Also explaining why I'm probably going to fail my senior year. :(

Same here. And I'm not even to 2400. Ah, well. Here's to NS General. Pretending we have lives -- one post at a time.
