Everywhere I look says amino acid...Well, I think you look in the wrong place. Because what it consists of is amino acids.

to start at the front
methionyl -- L-Methionine (Met / M)
glutaminyl -- L-Glutamine (Gln / Q)
arginyl -- L-Arginine (Arg / R)
tyrosyl -- L-Tyrosine (Tyr / Y)
glutamyl -- L-Glutamic Acid (Glu / E)

The -yl part just means it's in a compound, rather than free (you loose an -OH and -H when two amino acids bond, so it's only right the name changes slightly)

Not to mention, even the largest amino acid (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amino_acid) isn't over a hundred atoms large.
