I think they made the right choice here, all kidding aside. I don't see how on earth the lower court came up with that decision stripping the federal court of jurisdiction in favor of the texas probate court...

This was a unanimous decision of the U.S. Supreme Court.
If you read the article -- let alone the opinion (http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=US&vol=000&invol=04-1544)-- you'd know (a) whether or not Ms. Smith gets any money was not decided in this decision and (b) instead this was a technical matter involving jurisdiction.

Well mention was made of the judge, and there was only one mentioned in the article. Not to say that a secret hawt lesbian sex conspiracy at the highest levels is impossible, it just seems a tad less likely than a secret hawt heterosexual conspiracy at the highest levels.
