Thinking ahead this time

I dunno if anyone remembers but a few months ago I came to you good people asking for help with a talk I was giving at my college CU, and like the fantastic bunch you are it's just possible you saved me :) The talk itself went great and I thank all of you who helped out very much.

Guess what though - I'm doing another one this Tuesday on the topic of perseverance. I'm not yet desperate, but I figured rather than do a last minute job I'd think ahead (hence the title) and ask you guys - no sense in denying people the wisdom of others.

So yeah, anyone have any relevant Bible passages, web sites etc? Any help would be appreciated, and thank you in advance :)

*Disclaimer: For those of you who don't fancy actually reading the post itself allow me to emphasise; this is not a homework assignment! Just to head off the inevitable link to the homework help thread.

Hehe, thought you might be one of the first Smunkee :) Incidentally I believe it was your suggestion last time that was among those that really saved my ass - thanks for that :)

Preferably - it is a CU talk. (Christian Union btw, for those not in the know)

Maybe he is going to a divinity college.

Or maybe it's a Christian gathering.

Nope, then I will either ask my youth group leaders, friends, parents, or in a horrifically extreme case, do it myself :p

edit: and to be fair I did quite a bit of the last one myself, and could probably do quite a good job of this one too, but for a start I have quite a bit else on too, and also it would be a shame to waste the wisdom of the guys here - I actually meant that bit see? :)
