vroom-vroom goes the motorcycle

Ahhh spring! That beautiful season scented like cut grass, fresh air.

About two minutes ago, my peaceful day shot to hell. The annoying neighbor with his loud motorcycle decided to take a ride. But first, he felt like reving up for half an hour.. Yay exhost fumes and noise!

Meh.. how do you feel about motorcycles?

I think that one of the most fuel-efficient vehicle designs human beings can create is wasted on noise-making dickhead-transporting phallic symbols.

Motorcycles are meant for off-road fun. Street motorcycles should be quiet and efficient. But then again, i'm the crazy one. :)

never understood motorcycles myself there inferior to a car in almost everyway.

Anyhow just tap the back wheel next time you see him driving around (preferably on a motorway) when inside your automobile I doubt you will see him riding anything again:p

I have a little old rz350. Its little and old, so it "only" runs a 12 second quarter mile. It cost me 1300 bucks uses 5 dollars of gas a week and costs me 250 dollars insurance.. Yup, that sure is inferior to a car in everyway.

I want a 2006/07 YZF-R1. 9.xx 1/4mile, for 13,000.

Yeah, I love bikes.

I'll be making my annual trips to as many of the Irish Road Races as I can. Fantastic days out; especially the North West 200 (where bikes reach speeds of over 200mph on public, country, roads), and the Ulster Grand Prix (one of the fastest motorcycle circuits in the world, and it's on country roads as well).

My uncle has this huge Harley, which he has had since like the 60's or something, it's beautiful, his sons (well, 4 of them) race motorcycles, and one owns the local Harley shop/hangout/biker bar.

My husband want's a bike, he claims to "save gas money" but I know the truth, he is still mad because I made him get rid of his truck. Anyway, my uncle and cousins have gotten too torn up on their bikes for me to let my husband even get near one without having a heart attack.

That being said, I told him he could get a small bike, if he took a motorcycle training course and let me buy him a good helmet and racing leathers.

I'd rather not risk it, thanks.

I had several when I lived somewhere that had road surfaces that made it worthwhile. Here, unless you are into motorcycle trials the riding conditions are generally too dangerous (Potholes make messes of motos)

I wouldn't mind having one, and with training I doubt it's as risky as people say. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to ride one because the last one my dad had was stolen by a bunch of high school aged kids who ran it into their school (they weren't on the bike), and the nearest family members with bikes are on the other coast.
