Superman is an illegal immigrant.

He clearly was born outside the United States. He never went through any sort of immigration process. He just moved in, and uses a false identity to pretend he's an American citizen. We should deport him.

Well, that depends on a few things.

In one versin of Superman's history, he arrived on Earth in a 'birthing chamber' and came to term in an artificialwomb before being 'born'. That would make him an American Citizen.

Second, since his home was destroyed, that would make him technically a refugee.

Finally, even if he was determined to be an illegal alien, where do we send him? :p

Yes, we should send him home and let him apply for a job as a guest worker from there. Only problem with that though, his home planet no longer exists. Guess he could apply for refugee status.

After 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' in the eighties, they rewrote Superman's origin into what I described. However, a few years ago they rewrote it again to be closer to the original/Smallville/Movie origin.

Oh, the references to super-heroic homoerotica just reminded me: for those who can pick up the signal, try checking out tonight's Saturday Night Live - apparently it's going to given over completely to the animated "TV Funhouse" cartoons - featuring "Ace & Gary, the Ambiguously Gay Duo" - among others.

Seeing as I haven't tuned in for nearly ten years, this should be a bit of a treat.

By working for him? Helping him catch criminals? They wear spandex and live together in a cave. Batman can't stay interested in Catwoman for more than a few days. Robin can't stay interested in Batgirl for more than a few days. Poison Ivy can only get their attention by committing some crime, and even then they leave the cave so reluctantly. The Ambiguously Gay Duo is just Batman and Robin plus superpowers and a car that isn't shaped much differently from the Batmobile.

My highest 4 on Virtue are:

Perigrine, a level 32 kat/regen scrapper
Fire Elemental, a level 26 fire/fire tanker
Unstabe Isotope, a level 14 Rad/rad corruptor(villain)
Gaia's Knight, a level 12 Stone/Energy tanker.

Virtue, Triumph and Freedom ar my most use servers. *nod*
