i hope reggie is around till pick #30. the colts need a new runningback!:p

yeah i was surprised with houston. they could have taken reggie and aranged a trade to get more for him. now the ball is in the saints corner. they have a decent running back, so maybe they will trade the #2 pick. i think greenbay sittin in #5 should think about trading up to get reggie bush. that would be a huge score for the packers...

I live in Indiana (but am a Bears fan) why the hell didn't the Colts re-sign James? All my Cots fan friends are pissed about that one.

ive been a colts fan for a LONG time, but i liked the move to let james go. he is one of the best RB's in the business, but his contract would have taken so much money that one of the recievers would have to be released. i think wayne, stokley and harrison are each more valuable than james. they work perfectly with manning. the running back now for the colts is Dominic Rhodes, and i have said all last year that he would be a decent back if we had to rely on him. so i think it was a smart move by the colts to let james go so that they can use more money on signing and re-signing defensive players...

I know my Bears will. You think the Lions would draft a QB, but that makes too much sense.

Or they draft a punter...

If they do that, I'm moving to Canada.

It was a good call.

The Saints pick isn't a bad one either, considering McAlister is coming off knee surgery. So does Leinart fall to the Packers at 5? Or will the Jets take him?

Who does Oakland have for QB's right now? Didn't they sign Aaron Brooks? He's not the long term answer--too inconsistent--but he could be a good placeholder for Leinart. If I recall correctly, they didn't invest too much in Brooks.

Maybe not, but when a QB of Leinart's quality falls to your spot unexpectedly, you have to think long and hard about it, especially if you don't have a star already in the spot.

I wouldn't be surprised, considering how little effort I've put into the thing. I'm amazed that I'm third in the league.
