No idea where the robe is, sorry. I thought you were going to complain about the weak points of the game when I saw your title. I know there are some people out there who may deney that the game has any weak points, but unfortunately in my opinon it's true. I have one or two complaints. The main one being that when you want to do something like defuse a mine or repair a droid or hack into a computer the most skilled member of your party doesn't do it automatically. First you have to remember who has the best skill, switch to that person. perform the task, then presumably switch back to your main character. I thought computers were meant to free us from menial tasks like that? Also, when you are wearing your 1930's diving suit you lumber around in a very slow and boring manner. I was also disapointed that boring Jedi mumbo-jumbo was often the best response in dialogue when a lot of characters could have actually benefited from being given a dose of reality. "Your son is now a Kath Hound chew toy."

But it's not a bad game and I must say that the Cod-headed people on the anti-Tatooine planet looked brilliant.

It can be found on Starforge. There was some control room, and some machine, so when you click on the machine you got choise to take some weapons or armor. Armor is Revan's robe. If you're playing on Light side you also gain some cool robes. Be advised that you gonna need a lot of spikes.

True, and both were fixed in KOTOR 2.

I was also disapointed that boring Jedi mumbo-jumbo was often the best response in dialogue when a lot of characters could have actually benefited from being given a dose of reality. "Your son is now a Kath Hound chew toy."

Why can't you do that? There's no real "best" response, its up to personal preference. If you want to be a rude prick, be one. :p

Good to hear. I'll definately play it then.

Sorry, I should have said the game regards that sort of thing as evil and leading to the dark side, whereas I think of it as being refreshingly honest.

However, my local paper no longer allows me to write obituaries.

"After getting his sleeve caught in the works, Joseph Brown is now an industrial mulcher chew toy..."

Definitely not :p

It's not as good plot wise as the first game though. It's still awesome and well written, don't get me wrong...but you can tell that it was meant to be a lot bigger and it might have been rushed out the door a little too soon.

Yep. There are whole plotlines that just die for no reason. It badly needed at least another six months development.

Kreia's teachings have clearly taught you nothing.

The Dark Side is no more evil than a cheese grater. It's just when you use the Dark Side for evil that it becomes evil.

In related news, have you ever noticed that the Sith always (or often) tell the truth, while the Jedi always (or often) lie?

I would think that Palpatine is an exception here. But on that note, it makes a bit of sense. After all, the Sith are all about me, me, me. With that, who needs lying? Jedi on the other hand are all about self-denial. "No Timmy, you can't get angry. No Timmy you can't get married. No Timmy, you can't be cool like us. No Timmy, etc, etc"

No surprise there =p

No, the Sith aren't all about me, me, me. Most are. But not all.

What is the big attraction of the dark side? I mean you join the light side, you get to live for about 800 years like yoda and you can have sex when no other Jedi are looking. Join the dark side and almost invariably you will end up disfigured with robotic limbs and things and before too long your aprentice kills you by setting up a lightsabre so it activates when you sit on the crapper. I don't even know why anyone on the dark side would take an aprentice. You'd think they would have learned by now?
