I'm in Texas, and I'd rather:

1) Stay here
2) Learn Japanese, get A LOT of money, and move to Hokkaido
3) Someplace with a competent government... oh wait, is that ANYWHERE?!

I'm in Northwest Louisiana and I would much rather be out west somewhere Colorado or Montana or something. More of a cooler less humid climate with some nice forests

Just north of Dallas, TX. But would rather be in St Paul, Minnesota (and am making plans to move there soon).

I'm in Seattle, Washington. For where I am right now in life, it's a pretty good place to be. I'd love to be in London, though. Amazing city, cool accents.

I'd rather be in a fuzzily warm, richly carpetted, pink-walled room that is lined with plushy pillows and illumitated by soft, luminescently translucent lights emitting dim yet richly orange glows.

I'm at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. There are many places I'd rather be:

1. Visiting friends at my old college in Bennington, Vermont and then going for crazy amounts of skiing at Killington, Mount Snow, the Middlebury College Snow Bowl, or Stowe;

2. Back in Berlin, Germany like two summers ago when I had an idyllic summer romance that involved one night when we went to watch a meteor shower and sunrise atop a hill in Grünewald and fell asleep next to each other before the sun rose;

3. Visiting Grandma in Newport Beach, California, because I haven't seen her in almost a year, and that makes me want to break down and cry;

4. And perhaps most, at home in Brentwood, Tennessee with my copious and delightful cats, my incredibly awesome dog Bellamy (named after the lead singer of Muse), my gay best friend, my beloved Daddy, and an NES with Crash 'n the Boys. Oh yeah, and no gang shootings and car thefts.

::sigh:: Still four and a half more days...

Where would I rather be?
Second runner-up: On the space shuttle blasting into orbit.
First runner-up: Naked in bed in the arms of a beautiful woman (also naked).

I'm happy where I am, just wish everyone else were... elsewhere.

- be in my own home in Mt Washington, Maryland (just inside the Baltimore city limits)

I'd rather be practically anywhere else in the US instead of California.

I'm currently thirty miles North of Houston, Texas. I'd rather be in Austin, Texas right now, though that time will come soon enough (University of Texas).

Where would I most like to be, though? There's not one single place, though Melbourne, Australia and Osaka, Japan seem very interesting.

I am in OKC, I would rather be back in Tucson, although not until post-monsoon, I don't ever want to live through that again. LOL

Well, assuming you're referring to the reality of this universe and not fictional places, I'd have to say right where I am. I don't wanna move anywhere.

Oh, but I do want my girlfriend with me all the time.

I'm in New York, and I rather be in Munich where my boyfriend is. :(

Currently in my apartment in NYC... I would like to be on a small island, on a white beach looking out over the clear blue water, underneath a shady palm tree, sitting in a comfortable chair, with my computer in front of me so I could get some writing done (if I felt like it) and with a chilled coconut with a long straw stuck in it sitting beside me.

Not that NYC isn't one of my favorite places too, mind you.

I like it here at the moment. Ask again during the winter.

All in all, I'd rather be in Philadelphia.
