Choose and live a happy life knowing you made the right decision. Discuss. This is language...mainly. I'm not asking which you would take or have taken, just which is better.

Latin is more useful. So I chose it. Greek does sound awsome though.

Greek, because it's still used. I took Latin and hated it, but my French professor is convinced that Latin is why I can speak French as well as I do.

I think she's crazy.

Latin, because it is the true language of superiority (in fact 'superior' is latin itself :p). From the Romans, to the Catholics, to Self-important intellectuals; Latin has always been used to demean, stand-over, oppress, and/or conquer those who don't speak it.

I am currently studying Latin, and I can safely say that I love the language to the point that when I'm bored, I randomly attempt to translate my favorite songs into Latin. I carry my Latin dictionary with me. It also has been very helpful in increasing my vocabulary.
