I was just curious as to whether or not anyone has ever met a fellow NS comrade face to face!

I'll say i have not met anyone face to face.

Pure Metal and Glitziness have definitely met in person. I think there are a few other NS couples, too, and there have been meetings (one in Manchester a while ago, IIRC).

I, personally, haven't met anyone.

After I'd been playing for about a week, I found out that several of my freinds do as well. Does that count?

I got a guy in my class to sign up for NS but he has never been on the forums. I don't think that counts.

Does anybody here live in Maryland? Maybe we can set a precedent.

For the longest time I thought this thread was called "Has Anyone Met In Prison", and I thought, 'that's a weird thing to ask...'

Then, the mighty skill of reading things closely showed me the errors of my ways.

Oh yeah, and I have not met anyone on this forum, either in person, or in prison.

I know a few people on NS, but all of them were people I knew in person before I started. One of them is a friend who introduced me to the game, the other four were relativs and friends who I introduced to thee game.

I've yet to meet any posters here, mostly because I have no access to transportation, courtesy of my lack of money.

It wouldn't be a problem if they were closer, really. The nearest poster on my contacts list (Kejott, who no longer plays NS) is over a thousand miles away. Australia and the U.K. aren't too close, either. :p

lol well i didn't organise it, but it wasn't that hard. the most difficult thing was discussing venue and date. after that we all just kinda showed up and went from there

I hang out with Straughn almost every week at his radio show. I try to get to where he performs with his band. Also I have met Verdigroth and hung out with him a few times. Since I started my nation in 2001 I have prolly met a few in my town/travels that I didn't know did this. Due to the fact that I let my nation lapse into limbo for a few years I probably met a few when I was not on NS.

A Midwest meet would be cool, although St. Louis is a little far away for me. Chicago would be better, or even Minneapolis.

Well, I'll see. It's probably going to be on a weekend, and trains etc are more frequent (and the last ones are later) on Saturdays. Unless people want to book a hotel.

There are actually tons of Floridians on here that I have seen.

The only three that come to mind right now are me, The Nazz and Greater Valinor. I'm like 3000% sure theres more though.:)

I haven't met any Generalites in person, but I know some people with accounts. Reconasberg is my "friend" (he swears all the injuries he inflicts upon me are out of love), and I believe my sister had an account at one point (something to do with forks?).
As far as living near NSer's, I think La Dame is from Van Isle, but I don't know if anyone else is.

I like being in a loner region, actually. I occasionally create puppets and then forget about them and die. I don't even sign on through my nation anymore, so every once in a while I have to remember to go there so I don't die.

Yeah, i've met 3, though i've never asked what their states are called and its a bitch trying to remember. But i've heard they're pretty big here.

I know of at least 3 people that are members of NS but I don't know the names of their nations, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual :D
