I know we had a thread like this and it got great responses, so I'll present my own dilemma to the wise sages of NS General. How does my hair look best? I feel pretty random these days so I'll do whatever you guys decide.

I used to have my hair real short. Here are some examples:

This might be time-consuming, but just for conversation's sake, make each and every individual hair a different length. I don't think anybody' ever done that before. :)

For bonus points, make each strand a different color too.

Shave it all off except for about 1.5cm and dye what's left pink and green in alternating stripes.

Yeah, but it takes forever to do every morning. I prefer low-maintenance and none, or at least not much, product.

You can get a treatment to keep it permanently straight for months at a time, but it does tend to damage your hair a fair bit, as far as I've seen.

Bangs = fringe, I suppose.

And just when I was kinda starting to like you ... sorta ... maybe. :p

I like it like in the "hugs" picture best. I picked medium without bangs. When you say medium, I assume you mean shoulder length or so (like in the "hugs" picture as I said). I'm not big on bangs. And on another note, straight hair wouldn't suit you, in my opinion. I'm getting into hairstyling and generally know what I'm talking about. :p

Whatever you do, never cut layers into hair that isn't short, like the Charlie's Angels/Madonna thing, or those horrible medium bangs that I see everywhere. Too long to call short, too short to do anything with other than part them or try to shove them behind the ears, which doesn't work because of the crappy length decision. Argh, I see those everywhere, it's like a bad dream. :headbang:

I think you look the cutest with short hair. You have a nice face, and it's shape stands out more with boyish hair and bangs.
