Forget everything you know about Black Holes. And by "everything", I mean thinking that they're not fuel efficient.

Now to somehow attach one to the car...
Noooo, my firmly held belief that black holes aren't fuel efficient has been dashed!! My entire life was based on that one thing, curse you science!!!!

It would be tricky. I imagine superglue and rubberbands somehow being involved.

And managing to stop the car being crushed into a point of infinite smallness :p

It may be an argument to drive a Hummer. It would take more time for a Hummer to become infinitely small.

But then you'd run the risk of being seen in a Hummer

Considering certain...."meanings", attached to the term "black hole" I think if one has turned green, a trip to the doctor might be in order.
But then you'd run the risk of being seen in a Hummer
Better than a Honda Element...
I noticed this in one of the stories that one links to:
If you fancy taking a quick trip to the heart of a black hole be sure to allow plenty of time, since an international team of boffins has discovered that even the last leg of such a jaunt could take up to 200,000 years.
[...]
Or, in fact, longer than the average Northern Line tube trip from Edgeware to Stockwell, as our London readers will be amazed to read.
But then you'd run the risk of being seen in a Hummer
Silly, the black hole would suck up all the light, rendering you and your hummer invisible.

You make an EXCELLENT point... and, too, what would be the point of a fuel efficient Hummer, no matter how infinitely small it was?

Doesn't time get all wacky so it doesn't feel that long to the person travelling into it? Or something?

What would be the point in a Hummer itself? :D Knowing Hummers it'll probably end up doing 1 mile to the gallon anyway...

Even a non-living object such as a black hole would not want to suck up light that gave the image of a Hummer. It'd be like eating nails.
Ahem.
IT'S STILL BETTER THAN A FREAKING HONDA ELEMENT! What an idiotic name...what's next, the Honda Isotope?

No it's a cool name - the Hummer has the stupid name - do you even know what a "hummer" is? Although they are very enjoyable, it's just not somethign you should name a monster truck. Although driving one will probably get you a lot mor hummers than a Honda Element could.
The stupidest car name ever is the Murano (it also has the ugliest orange color I've ever seen!)
Pllus I bet Honda will be the first to ever to develope the black hole engine.
Honda Elements are teh awesome!
They are UGLY. It's like driving around a freaking box with wheels. I normally don't give a damn what my car looks like, but even I can't stand THAT.

The designer looked at his fridge for inspiration :p

That would not surprise me.
Still, that said, I'd never drive a Hummer either. I prefer efficiency over fancy schamcy HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE cars, thank you.

no they are PRETTY! :p
They get great gas mileage for an SUV, can carry large loads of stuff in the back, you can wash them out with a hose if you want and the four seats can turn into a bed in an instant. Efficient, economical, and stylie!

Butbutbut...BOX ON WHEELS!

Ah, hell. I've never used one, so I honestly can't say. They'd win me over if they really were that efficient.

What I'm hooking up to the Mitsubishi Lancer I just bought:

In these times of huge gas expenses, I condemn the rest of you to oblivion for near-infinite mpg.
Silly, the black hole would suck up all the light, rendering you and your hummer invisible.
Actually, it would be the opposite. The Black Hole would slow the light leaving the black hole, causing the image of youin the hummer to last infinately.

Still looks much better than the Pontiac Aztec. *shudders*
