I didn't watch the whole thing--Hannity makes me violently ill, and the combination of him and any Phelps threatens my intestinal integrity--but does anyone find it curious that Hannity hit on the "anti-war" part of the protesting at least three times in the first thirty seconds? Hmmmm. Wonder if he's trying to link Phelps to the Democrats who oppose the war for perfectly rational reasons (as opposed to the "God is pissed" bullshit Phelps preaches)?

This isn't an interview and the persons pretending to be interviewers are not journalists. Why do they invite her if all they're gonna do is gonna call her names, and obfuscate the reasons she does this? They're not doing this because they are anti-war as alluded.

If there is a journalistic board that overviews impartiality and ethics in the media in the US, this should be reported to it.

The thing is, as best as I can figure out, Westboro baptist only has about 200 members at the outside. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't really pay any attention to them, so it's possible).

If that's the case, they seem to get an undue amount of attention from the media. There are plenty of other whacko groups with membership of greater or equal size you never hear about. For example, my local falun gong chapter doesn't even get written about in the shoppers news, and they have similar beliefs about homosexuality I've heard.

Once again, people should think like me: People are people are people. Judge on the individual, not a sweeping group. And for science's sake, actually accept science.

Pretty much all of Fox is like that. They are best example for why news should not be subject to the market desires.

Yes, that's precisely what he was trying to do. The far right, of which this crazy woman is ironically part on every other issue, keeps trying to equate Phelps' group with war protesters in general, and will avoid mantioning Phelps' true intnetions unless pressed. Hell, Eutrusca's done it three or four times on this forum.
