Mmmk, so my friend is freaking out because she isn't feeling good. I tried to help by googling the symptoms, but all I got were blog entries and and what not..

So I thought "hey why not ask the smaet people of NSG!"

So here are her symptoms: shaking, sweating, freezing, breathing heavy, and feeling terrified

I say it's a break down, but, I'm an idiot at this stuff. Please help?

Sounds like a garden variety anxiety attack. Smoke some weed, or have a few drinks, and get some sleep, works for me.

Sounds like a panic attack to me. Have a lavender bath!

panic attack, breathe into a paper bag until the breathing calms down then a bath, and possibly a cocktail if of age, if too young, then hot tea and a good CD.

Sleep deprivation and/or excess caffeine will do that. Just as common as hangovers among students.

if it seems serious call the hospital or at least some advice line (depending on where you live)

But yeah it sounds like some weed would help or failing that a sit down and some good tea

Haha, I asked that site before I had acid reflux diagnosed... It told me to dial 999 because I was having a heart attack. :)

It sounds like an anxiety/panic attack to me, although they could be symptoms of something bigger, it's unlikely. Hangover, sleep deprivation, and too much caffeine are likely, too. A hot bath, some hot herbal tea (preferably caffeine-free, I always enjoy peppermint with a teaspoon of honey), and some calm music (classical music stations on radios are pretty easy to find, if she can enjoy classical) will probably help her tons.

Did anyone mention syphilis, second stage? Best way to find out is by extensive anal probe. Better results from doing it in public, too.
How good is her poetry?

The first three I'd say she has a fever, but the last two definately point to something psychological. A panic attack like many others have stated.

If it gets bad don't play the hero, call for help. Panic attacks are HORRIBLE experiences, and the sufferer may do something rash as a result.

Is she good looking? Maybe she just needs some meat in her diet.

I kid, I kid.

Well, not really.
