I Smite Thee!
An ironic article (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12467604/?GT1=7938) that made me chuckle. What did these innocent children do to deserve God's wrath from the heavens while praying to him?
I wish we had a few fundamentalist christians attempting to explain this incident. The Lord works in mysterious ways. :p

They're still busy working on explaining that intercessory prayer study that came out a week or two ago, that had that 68% or so getting WORSE after knowing they were being prayed for.
It might take 'em a little while to get to this one.

These kids are now better off because they are in heaven. If we were less sinful God would kill us all with lightning bolts and we'd enjoy eternal bliss in heaven too.

Actually, the minute I posted my comment, I had more than a twinge of conscience. You're right, there're five dead kids and their devastated families.

This whole thread is about the irony. And it had to be Thor because Zeus was killed in an earthquake about six months ago.

Just because Thor is northern European doesn't mean he's invulnerable to earthquakes.
And yes, the irony is supreme. Much more so than anything Shakespeare came up with.

What if it was Jupiter...
That's why we use wood. The next time you build a cross, ask yourself this: What substance would Jesus get himself nailed to?
