I have been thinking of several political ironies like
Those that call themselves conservative favor the increase in the technology and extremely recent methods of living, while the ones who favor return to the earth ideas are called the liberals
That the foriegn policy objectives of the Libertarian movement as expressed in the Libertarian Manifesto and the foreign policy objectives of the American Independents are almost identical.
That the political left critisizes bush for taking cocaine
That the political right has embroiled us in a war with religious fundamentalists
That a simple majority of homosexuals, a significant majority of feminists, and an overwhelming majority of the christian right support the death penalty.
Comments and any other Ironies

That the political right has embroiled us in a war with religious fundamentalists
Not really that ironic when you consider that Christian fundamentalists have always hated Muslims. The Koran is their Kryptonite, or something.
That a simple majority of homosexuals, a significant majority of feminists, and an overwhelming majority of the christian right support the death penalty.
Why shouldn't homosexuals and feminists like a bit of blood shed, now and again? It helps keep things interesting when the people you know start dropping dead, and executions have always been fun for the whole family.
