I happened to be in the immediate vicinity of that pageant last night, so just to see what the big to-do was all about, we watched the last few minutes of it. The final five were amazing... but not in a good sort of a way. There was enough fabric to cover them, but it was strategically placed so it managed to almost cover all the relevant parts. The leg slits in thier dresses were up past their waist, and the necklines were down past the same place, in more than one instance. The ugly skirt layers looked like a fabric monster threw up at about waist level to make up for the top half. One girl didn't fill up the chest of her dress, so it looked as if a side view would view more than just dress. And the best part of the dresses was they distracted from their fake smiles and exagerated faces. One of the girls might have been pretty, if given a decent dress, less makeup, and a chance to relax... the rest were hopeless.
Surprisingly though, LAST year's Miss USA was quite good-looking.
(Guys, you don't need to jump on me - I'm female, and I am not attracted to peeks of other female's sexualities, and I find makeup makes most people look stupid, too. It makes for making pagents less glamorous.)

not really. i just can't tell half of the stars in hollywood apart these days. jessica alba looks just like scarlet johannsen and they all look alike, and she just looks like yet another bimbo to roll off the production line of similar-looking, identically "beautiful" people to be plastered all over our TV sets and magazines and everywhere...
