Im sure that the first 2 probably happened before stuff was recorded. I mean, as humans, I would find it very unlikely that some cavemen did not have conspiracy theories. Basic ones maybe, but conspiracys theories nonetheless.

Year: 12,000 BC

Location: Middle of nowhere, probably near a river

Occasion: Election of chief

Major players:
Ogruk -- chief
Chendu -- opposition
Panga Panga -- Ogruk's wife
Crotcho -- Chendu's wife
Hangrot, Wicta Fleckra -- children of Ogruk & Panga Panga
Ogranja, Retch, Grackel -- children of Chendu & Crotcho
Judgito -- Election supervisor (father of Ogruk and Chendu, who are brothers)

Judgito is not allowed to vote. This is a platoon-sized tribe, with only the two families. Everyone who can speak coherently is allowed to vote, except for Judgito. This means that, since they added their third child 6 years ago (5-year terms for the chief), Chendu should have the numbers to become the new chief (5 to 4).

However, after tabulating the votes, Judgito exits his cave and announces that Ogruk has kept his position as chief, by a 5-4 vote.

"Ook aak grok Grackel hunk tik CRAAAAAK, Ogruk!" exclaims Crotcho, shouting at Ogruk. "Nik grag shifk munch lipf magrok beng. DIK muk gurglink. DIK KONG CHENDU!"

Loosely translated: You must have given Grackel some pot in exchange for her vote. There's no way she would have voted against her father otherwise. It is illogical. Chendu should be chief!

And there we have it... the first conspiracy theory.

The person speaking must have been either Chendu or Crotcho. However, see the following:

Chendu, as an intelligent man (intelligent enough to be candidate for chief) would not have stooped to speaking of himself in the third person. Logically, the only other person it could have been would be Crotcho.
