Mission: Impossible III director and
Lost creator JJ Abrams is to direct the
11th film in the Star Trek franchise.

Variety reports that the film, to be
written by Abrams and Mission:
Impossible III scriptwriters Alex
Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, will focus
on the early years of James T Kirk and
Mr Spock, including their first mission
to outer space.

Will the madness ever end.Well at least its got a decent director.Hope the story line is better than the last one.,.

As my posts from the last thread will have to conclude, I will most certainly avoid this movie at all costs. I'll just try to find some Voyager reruns and be happy with that.

like any movie it depends on the director, the script, the actors, the editor, the sound man, the special effects,

the announcement of the time frame and director is too early to decide if a film is going to suck or not.

Apart from Shatner, Star Trek is crap
