The problem is they are the wrong people. i think anyone with a college degree should automatically get a green card. We need competition for jobs at the top. not at the bottom. All that is happening now is supply and demand. An over supply at the bottom, driving down wages for the poorest of the poor. There are no jobs Americans won't take. I remember when a slaughter house job was a great union job for those of little education. The supply of cheap labor busted the unions and now wages are so low that it's impossible to make a decent living cutting meat. The same is true across the board on "jobs Americans won't take". Without the cheap imported labor we would be force to raise min. wage. For the last 26 years--an entire generation--we have been taking from the poor to give to the rich and called it "Conservative Christian".
