Fable. My brother spent twenty-seven hours straight playing that game when he first got it.
Honorable mention for Halo and GTA. And Burnout:Revenge, of course.

True, but that doesn't reflect constant playing (24/7).

36 hours straight once. :) My friend holds a record at over 72 hours, a non-stop three-day party rush to level 75. Tanthalas is his user name.
Oh ya. The longest battle in FFXI history (of constant fighting) was a nearly 30 hour mega-battle against Absolute Virtue. Even when they resorted to the cheapest tactics did they actually make progress....but still lost in the end.
Usually I play for over 8 hours a day (weekdays). ^-^ Though when I get Aht Urhgan I am sure it will be back to 17+ hours a day on weekends.
