I may see it tonight- it does look good.

Clerks 2 has just wrapped up shooting, will be in theaters on August 18th.

Dennis Hopper is going to direct Robert Duval in a movie called "A Night in Old Mexico" about an aging man and his grandson who travel to Mexico. Since I'm a fan of Dennis Hopper and Robert Duval I expect it to be good.

And finally David Fincher, the guy who directed 7 and Fight Club, will be directing a movie based on the Zodiac Killer. It will star Jake Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, and Robert Downey Jr. That should be pretty good too. It's in production right now.

Go watch 'Brick', it's very very good.

And also 'The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada'. That's an excellent film.

Brokeback to the Future looks pretty good:D

I agree. The first wasn't that bad a movie, but it doesn't even qualify as good really. The second one went downhill from there, and the 3rd is gonna suck ass. The reason for this is because they show a 1965 350R mustang drift racing. Seriously, what were the writers smoking when they came up with that.

As for the next best movie, I would have to go with Monty Python and the Life of Brian.

Going this weekend to see if Silent Hill the movie is nearly as scary as the game. If it is, it will definitely qualify as best horror movie of all time. But it probably won't.

you think there is some chance that the 2nd sequel squeezed out of a franchise that wasnt particularily good to begin with has some chance of being worth $8 and 2 hours of your life?

i think theres a better chance that youll be taken by the rapture on your way to the theater.

im going to go see "silent hill" later today. i dont think it will be GOOD but it has sean bean in it so im going anyway.

the movie biz has been whining about people not going to the movies any more but good movies are few and far between. when they get back to making real movies instead of yet another remake of a lousy tv show then people will go back to the movies.

Jarhead's about to come out on DVD (15/5 if you live in the UK - hurrah!) and that's an incredibly good film.

And for Monty Python, The Meaning of Life is arguably the best. The Life of Brian is amusing, but not as good as TMoL.

I put it on par with the Doom series in terms of clichéd plotline.

I mean, if Halo was a really atmospheric and challenging game, i'd cut it some slack. FPS games don't need a strong storyline. But it wasn't that good either, IMO. It was pretty bog standard. Reminded me of the dark ages of a million-and-one doom clones back in the mid-to-late 90's, it did. And the aliens were lame.
