In an all out war between the two religions who would win, the world's 15 million jews, or the 1.5 billion Muslims? Just curious what you think.

It happened before, to a smaller extent. Israel won.

Easy the Jews, they would just get there Christian neighbors to help them. After the March 11 bombings in Spain, September 11th in New York, the stabbing of Van Gogh, and the London bombings. I really can see who they sympathize with more, as to the present I have yet to see a yeshiva bomber blow up a bus in my country.

There are millions of Muslims who are not Arabs, and millions of Muslim Arabs who live in countries that did not participate in the Six Day War.

The fight would involve a nuclear war between Pakistan and Israel, which the Muslims would win, because they have more people who need to be killed in order for them to lose.

Have and can. Isreal has won every single war against Muslim powers it has fought since it's formation as an indepedent state in 1948.

The answer to this question is less than simple... In terms of number, the number of Jews versus the number of Muslims is quite low, but then again, a large number of Christians would join the Jews in battle against the Muslims if such a war occurred.

Who would win? No one would "win". Jews are dispersed enough that neither religion could really "win" over the other. That said, nuclear detonations in Jersualem and Tel Aviv would hurt the international Jewry a lot. Many Jews would die, but then the Christians would enter the war in their support, and a purge of Islam would begin. Neither side would win, we'd just have less Jews in the middle east and essentially no Muslims outside of the middle east and a lot of dead people that need to be buried. :(

if the Muslim nations attacked Israel (without Nukes) they'd be screwed: the Israeli army is well equipped and efficient, but if the Israelis had to attack then they'd be screwed, they'd be spread too thinly on far too many fronts.

in modern warfare numbers don't matter all that much; unless Iran does quickly develop nukes, the fact that Israel has scores of nukes stored away (not officially in a state of completion; but give a technician with a screwdriver 5 minutes and they're ready) does give them a decided advantage; if the nation were threatened, i think the shrine in Mecca would be quickly obliterated. the Israelis have a better airforce plane for plane than the US or the UK, and they have the best planes as well. still, it would be a close match; if you could somehow ship all the Indonesian muslims, as well as all the muslims from North America, Europe, the Middle East, and elsewhere, into Syria right before a massive invasion, things would not bode well for the IDF

Israel has one won every war it has ever been in, even though the odds where heavily against it every time, although they get better every time.
Plus you need to take into account the size of the IDF and the fact that they are far better trained and equiped then any force that any of the neighbouring countries could hope to muster.
Also it seems very unlikelly that most of the militarily powerful neighboring muslim states would engage in all out warfare, that hasnt exactlly worked well for them in the past.

You do know that Israel won the Six Day War by it's own merits, right? Little, if any, allied help. Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Iraq couldn't take Israel down.

I'm not so naive as to think Israel has done no wrong in its history, but the Palestinians aren't perfect either.

I've voted muslims cause they are a lot more than the jews. That's not the same that Israel vs. Muslim countries. And it's not a question of armies, not only at least, with 10.000 suicides-martirs, jews would have a serious problem. If we account israel without west aid, there's no question, but with it's even a serious problem. Actually, I think has no many chances to survive in an hostile middle East if it doesn't solve the palestinian quetion in a digne way, it means, 1967 borders and no control on jordan frontier or water supplies. At the end, number bring tha victory, even "butcher" Sharon understood, that why there are no more jews in Gaza.

Terror is about inciting fear. If you're Palestinian and haven't done anything wrong, odds are that you won't get hit by a cruise missile. If you're Israeli and haven't done anything wrong, too bad, the Palestinians will still blow themselves up in your train.

It's not a fascist terror state, but yeah, it's a terror state by necessity. The two countries are also at war, I've explained my point of view on the matter several times.

As for Isreal being the only democracy in the Middle East... first, Isreal is an European country (by culture) that happen to be located in the Middle East so it doesn't really count... and second, you are forgeting the new Iraq... LOL. They might have a seemingly civil war but they vote! LOL!!!

I like Jews and I'm a bit disappointed to hear theres only 15 million of them. or is that just in Israel? If it came to all out war Israel would probably win if they took the nuclear option. unless the muslims all ran straight into Israel and fought hand to hand.

They wouldn't all come to Isreal. The highway to get there is sh*t! And its a desert all around so you can't go from Iran to Israel by walking.
