Well.. have you?

I started to read it when I was in 8th grade.. but since I got it from the school library, and school was ending in three weeks and I was busy doing other things.. I only read a bit of it.. I think I got as far as the part where that girl was about to buy those shoes and the guy was going to shoot her.. or something.. its been a few years..

You should read it. It's a good book. Not great, but good.

It's pretty fine, yeah. Much better than a lot of other books I've read.

I've read part of it, but unfortunately, I never got around to finishing it and a friend borrowed my only copy.

A movie is probably being made on the basis there's a ready-made audience for it. Us lot.

Read it as an "Adavance Reading Copy" before publication (neayh neayh - now if only I could get Max to sign it... "To Syniks NRA..." :p ) and just listened to the audio book a couple of weeks ago.

If they botch the movie Max can always contract me out to "deal with" the culprits... ;)

I hope, if they make a movie from it, Milla Jovovich isn't in it.

-_-

Just a hunch from her previous movies that they would put her in. It would probably ruin the movie.

Oh yeah, that riveting performance where her role was a confused and primal woman who barely spoke english and fought more than she communicated.

So hard to pull off, I know.

Fortune city makes me sad.

Yeah, but you can see "...TH_ELEMENT" in the URL, so you can safely assume it's a picture of The Fifth Element's poster or something.

As the others have said, it's not outstanding, but it is good. Certainly worth reading, and quite a page turner in places.

I have no idea why. If I did, I'd be sorry.

I just found a picture of Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element. That's all.

I keep going to get it but every time I do I meet an interesting woman and fall in love thus my hard earned book money goes into flowers and the inevitable lonely drink at the pub

So yeah I blame love

It makes him sad because it doesn't let him click the link because you hotlinked directly to the picture. A lot of free sites don't allow that.

Yeah, I've read JG. It's currently in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. I left in the library of charity that ran weekend English classes. I mean Max doesn't use overly complex words, keeps it all fairly simple and it's an enjoyable read. So that's why I left it there.
...
I hope Max doesn't mind... it's not as if his books are on sale in Uzbekistan c.c

I haven't read Syrup or Company because for some reason I thought they weren't on sale in the UK... I have no idea why for Syrup. I thought there was a legal problem or something. Whereas, Company had a later release date in the UK than the US. So I forgot about buying it. Meh. Maybe I'll buy them after my exams as a treat.

Funny thing is, I ran across the book in the library about a week before I found this site randomly linked from another site. I read the back and cover flap and everything, but I decided not to check it out cause I figured it would be dumb.

I guess I'll go ahead and read it one of these days.

I read it, ages after it came out, and really liked it.

Though after a few years in early NS and then II, it felt wierd that it wasn't about the amerigo slave wars, or something. I knew it wasn't, but things like that embodied nationstates for me before...
