As in, my house, or my city?

My house (rather...my parent's house) suits me just fine. The city itself isn't bad.

I did when I lived in LA, or when I lived in Italy. Alas, now I'm out in the middle of flippin nowhere so I can go to Duke University.

Although, give me 5 years and I'll be in either LA or NY or at least the civilized parts of NC.

The island as a whole isn't bad. Just the location I'm located on I don't like. I rather live in the city.

I live in New Jersey and I love it. I've got New York and Philadelphia within driving distance as well as the Jersey shore, Atlantic city's casinos, and some nice forests all within a short enough distance for nice, short drives or day trips.

i'm not overly taken with the country, but its a damn sight better than a lot of others out there and i do count myself lucky for being born here.

Overall, yeah. However, I would prefer to move back to southwestern Ohio (the part of the state where the economy doesn't suck...it and Columbus area). Nicer weather there too.

I can't stand it where I'm at right now. I'm living on a small island in the middle of Puget Sound, and being here has completly stalled my career. My wife and I moved here originally as part of an externship from my school, but ended up having to stay when we found out the her father had cancer, and we needed to take care of him. That part was understandable. But, now we've been stuck here for more than a year after his death.

The light at the end of the tunnel is that we're moving back to the city at the end of september.

Building? Yes, I love living in Wagoner Hall, especially because I enjoy living in the belly of the liberal beast: College Dorms. College Conservative baby.
City? Yeah, I like Muncie.
State? Indiana's pretty cool.
Nation? America kicks ass.

I grew up in LA and Italy, so I like cold weather, it's a change of pace. I already have an apartment up there, that I use almost never (even though it costs me a whole lotta money), but I never know.

Edgbaston, Birmingham, UK sucks. Or at least for people who lead the type of lifestyle I lead. I have to walk over a mile to get to the nearest grocery store. The bus services are shoddy. And there aren't any ethnic shops close by at all. Back in London I could go to a local turkish store and pick up loads of fresh corriander for next to nothing. The local store (a tescos) sell tiny amounts of corriander in special little plastic boxes and it's really weak and smells like nothing and costs far too much. And the choice of fresh fruit and veg is really limited or poor quality. Did I mention the bread was crap? And the residence is prohibitively expensive. £3000 for a 42 week let for a bedroom with shared kitchen and bathroom. The city also only has one independent cinema. Which only re-opened 2 years ago.

It does have a local canal which is nice for walks though. :)

The city I live in is a little gungy at times, but I generally like it here. We're about a half-hour drive away from Toronto, so I'm close to the amenities without being in it all the time.

Now if only they'd get around to widening the highway between where I live and where I work....

Despite how much I complain to my boyfriend, Sacramento really isn't that bad. I love the weather (except for the past few weeks, when it's been raining a lot) and the people are generally very nice. I live right next to the American River (two minute walk from my front door), which is nice because I can go for runs on the levee, walk my dog on the bike path, etc. All in all, it ain't bad. A little too much of the small town feel for my taste, but I'm quite happy here for the moment. Of course, in all likelihood I'll be moving in the next few years, but that's because I want to go back to school.

I live in Belfast in Northern Ireland and, for all its problems, I wouldn't live anywhere else. Never met friendlier people, or an all round nicer place to be.

No. It's too far south, too close to a City (Chicago), has too many people within shooting distance that deserve it, and too far from Mountians and sufficient unfenced land.

I need to move back to Alaska. :(

No. Living in a city of just 4000 sucks. Plus, this city is the drug capital of the entire state--everyone's more concerned with drugs than with sex.

If this city had a bunch of prostitution "problems" instead, THEN I might be arsed to get off my lazy butt and get laid. :p

Where I live isn't too bad. Van might be prettier and have more shopping, but I've got friends here, and houses are cheaper (or they were when I bought mine).

I hate suburbs. Guess where I live... in a suburb! They're building a Wal-mart across the street! I'll take urban or rural, but not suburbia. It's so fake! Everyone tries to act like they live in the country, but they refuse to give up the conviniences (sp?) of the city. So what do they do? They turn the country into a city! Hypocrites! They all complain about the destruction of the rainforests, but they have no problem buying a house that was built where 100 acres of woodland used to be!

Okay, I'm finished with my rant.

Well, yeah, I do enjoy where I live. It's a neighborhood with about 30 houses, but it is in a rural area so that is pretty nice, but still close enough to stores, so it's kind of rural-suburban. However, when I move out (long time from now, so I may change my mind) I think there are few places I would rather live. If I decide to stay in the US, definately Phoenix, Arizona. If not, I think Scandinavia, preferably Finland or perhaps Norway, would be my choice. I've also considered Austrailia, Canada, or Ireland.

Yeah. It's close enough to the city centre without being too close (15 mins in the car, 20 on the tram), 10-15mins from the airport, close but again not too close to the motorways, and theres a field in front of my house, so a lovely view :)

Trenton. Turningpoint of the war for independence, home of the Trenton Titans minor league hockey, and a great place to buy cheap cocaine from a street gang member.

Anyway, yes I do like where I live~ Which is to say I like the city where I attend university, not my "official" place of residence, which is the town that my parents moved to a week before I went off to school. That spot is a backwater, but the place with my school is very nice.
