This just validates something most of us have known for years: poor relationships affect your health.
A Case for Peace (http://www.realage.com/news_features/tip.aspx?v=1&cid=16586)
Quarreling with your partner may put the brakes on your body's ability to heal quickly.
In a study, researchers inflicted small blister wounds on couples and monitored them for 24 hours. The blisters of quarrelsome couples healed 40 percent more slowly than the blisters of more amiable pairs. Promote a peaceful partnership by practicing conflict resolution with your significant other and finding common ground whenever possible.

i'd beleive that
good realtionships make you smile alot
smiling releases endorphins
which makes you happy
and i really do think that positive frames of mind affect all areas of your life
including health

Perzactly. Plus, the endocrine system is actually part of the nervous system, which means an even more direct impact. :)

Well then somebody please explain to me how, with a healthy steady loving relationship and a boyfriend who came over just about EVERY SINGLE DAY to take care of me, I'm still slightly sick after a month?
Oh yeah, mono and a weak immune system, right.....*ahem* well, I'll be moving along now....
