Middle-aged 'still enjoying sex'

Why is it that I can already hear Eutrusca going "well...DUH!" :D

Can anyone translate the sentence:
In 75% of the cases the men report always having an orgasm. With women only 26% say they always have one, although 45% say they always have one, although 45% of men believe their partners always have an orgasm.
Am I just being slow, or did that sentence make no sense?

Oh, and I think they just accidentally duplicated part of the sentence - just cut out the part in brackets:

In 75% of the cases the men report always having an orgasm. With women only 26% say they always have one, although 45% [say they always have one, although 45%] of men believe their partners always have an orgasm.

Quote from the article: "It's surprisingly high in all countries, with between 70% and 80% of people saying they have had sex in the previous 12 months."

So, you only have to have sex ONCE A YEAR for it to be significant?!

They have since edited it:

What I want to know is why this falls under the category of 'politics'. Shouldn't it be in 'entertainment'?

Indeed. It does sound a bit odd.

So, without the duplicated parts, it DOES actually make sense :)

I noticed that too...perhaps you could argue that sex calms us down, therefore making us more amicable and willing to compromise.

So does football, and that's not under politics.

I suppose when you get to 80 once a year IS significant. :p

bah, typical heterosexual male orientated society that believes you can't have good sex without having an orgasm.

In second place came Spain, where 73% of men and 68% of women reported high satisfaction rates, the study suggested.

But in "male-centred sexual regimes" like the Middle East, Brazil, Italy and parts of Asia the study suggested satisfaction rates fell to the 40-50% range.

Not that I doubt their results, but am I the only one who finds it strange that Spain should be considered any less of a "male-centered sexual regime" than Brazil or Italy?

Any Spanish here? What's your secret?

What football do you watch that makes you more calm, amicable, and willing to compromise? Because it's certainly not either of the footballs I watch.

Given that we aren't talking about watching middle-aged people having sex, maybe Yootopia is talking about playing football, rather than just vicariously and vouyeuristically observing...

In answer to the original title. For all you kids out there.

The older you get the better the sex. A "quickie" now takes at least an hour. Slow and smooth is so much better than "wham, bam, thank you ma'am". Plus you get to know what turns on your mate and what s/he doesn't like. I would bet the per cent of orgasms goes up with each year you're with your mate.

Well, my Canadian is over 40 and we have loads of fantastic sex. It is way better than the rushed 'wham bam thank you m'am' teenage sex, and although we still do have sex like that...he really knows how to rock my world...so it makes me laugh to think that some people think we are supposed to stop when I get to 40....DUH!!!! I certainly won't be!!

75% of men replied to the questionairre that they always have an orgasm
26% of women replied to the questionairre that they always have an orgasm
45% of women always tell their partner that they had an orgasm
45% of men believe that their partner always have an orgasm

Is a possible interpretation that makes sense, although it was always more likely that "say they always have one, although 45%" had been repeated accidently.
