Ekkk. I've never ever been on NS General at this time before (5:38am) and damn it's so fuckin' busy. Man, too hard for me too keep up.. Too tired.
Why is this such a popular time? What are you guys doing (or not doing) that means you're on here? eg. just home from work/just woke up etc etc.

It's not that *we* are especially busy on here at this time, it's just that*you* are inconveniently located enough to mostly be online when we happen to be not. :p

most the people on here now are in the US, Canada and I suppose Europe, so for us its the middle of the day or evening so we are at work, avoiding work, getting home, etc. When I come on at about 4 or 5am my time this forum is basically dead

Heh indeed. I've found in the past it was especially inconvenient with my gaming addiction. To get proper/competitive games I would have to stay up all night. Thank God I'm over that.. Wait, I'm doing that now pretty much.. Blah.

Well, if he's at work, chances are he's on the American continent somewhere. It's around 7/8 pm in Western Europe right now.

The forum sees most of its activity in the evening and at night - about 6pm through to 3 or 4am GMT, because that's when both Americans and Europeans are online. When I come on in the morning (at about 10 or 11 GMT), it's pretty dead. Warms up throughout the day though.

Staying up late. It's 2:52 am here in Osaka.... (yet another pet peeve = people who forget that the internet is global... even on a forum with such a strong international presence - at least in comparison to others I've haunted.)

EDIT: LAUGHING AT MYSELF FOR ASSUMING YOU WERE FROM USA! :D

You'll see I asked why this is such a popular time. I understand time zones, I'm just curious as to why this particular time is so popular.. As I can't be bothered to look at a world clock.

And at least yo're asking on a forum, unlike my college roommate fromn Spain's family and friends. Stas's friends and family couldn't seem to grasp the idea that Spain and Texas were in different time zones, and a call at 8 am in Spain was a bad idea when the recipients were typical college students...

It's quite cool, actually.

You crawl underneath it, the wood starts wrapping itself around you, and then the robot arms come out and transfrom you into a never-sleeping cyborg. The white fluffy stuff is for muffling your screams during the process.

Too bad you didn't like it. *takes away cool cyborg making machine*
