I saw two albino squirrels once, chasing each other on the lawn of a well-known local Mental Health center.

Now, now. The Asian Chicken Salad is just a shameless rip-off of the Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad, as is McDonald's "new" Spicy Chicken Sandwich, itself an exact duplicate of the priorly existing Wendy's version.

Overall, Wendy's is healthier -- providing more salads than McDonalds, potatoes, chili, yogurt, and alternatives to combos aside from fries.

I have not eaten at McDonalds in years. I find the food disgusting.

I accept McDonald's for what it is. Cheap food that does the job and is something nice and quick too. Of course, I can think of a lot more food I'd rather prefer to have. It's just a choice amongst many.
Though I do love the breakfasts. They are quite tasty, but most importantly it shows I've made the effort to get up in time :D
But ah, I wish they did their McMuffins all day in the UK... like they do in Hong Kong. And they don't do just plain Sausage McMuffins here :(

My view has increased in recent weeks because of the McRib promotion going around now. Other than that I eat it only when I have to.

McDonald's is alright. Tastes fine, not the best or the most healthy by any means, but good once in a while. Gives people who can't get better jobs work. Pretty competitive wages where I'm from versus other fast food places in the area. Pretty decent place overall.

You get what you pay for:

If you want to eat a full meal for a dollar, don't complain when it tastes like shit.

I have never eaten there, and I never will.

If you replace every McDonalds joint with a small, locally owned place, not only will you be providing just as many jobs, but the poorest neighborhoods (where McDonalds typically are) would not lose so much money.

McDonalds, Wal-Mart, Starbucks: they suck all the available cash out of a neighborhood, put in a neat little envelope, and ship it to the company headquarters.

(amount of money that is paid in wages)<(amount of money that is made). If it wasn't, they'd be out of business.


The money will ultimately end up on the other side of the nation.

If it were a small store (with the same number of jobs, same shitty food, same everything), the money would not go any farther than the apartment block down the street, where the owner lives. And he'd spend it on other local shops.


Chain stores make poor communities impossible to improve.
